If you want something a little different then you must stay at the Palazzetto Pisani. Great hotel, original decor from the 1700's, wonderful staff very helpful and the room we had in the annex was perfect for our needs and that of our children. Easy access by canal with both waterside entrance which can be fun when the tide is... More

I love everything about this place. The room is very big, over look the grand canal. Sitting room near the lobby and breakfast room over looking the grand canal. Staff are very nice and helpful from the front desk, the bell person, lady in the breakfast room and housekeeper. I stayed at this place twice in just one month. And... More

We arrived in Venice on a beautiful sunny day. We had a pre-arranged transfer to our hotel which had been paid for separately. It took us to the Accademia vaporetto (water bus) station when it should have taken us right to the doorstep of the hotel. We had a bit of trouble finding our hotel, but not for long. At... More

We enjoyed one fabulous night for our honeymoon here and wished we could have stayed longer! It is like staying in a museum - full of history and amazing artifacts and furniture. The location is fantastic - with beautiful views on the Grand Canal and only minutes to St Marks square. The breakfast was amazing - a huge spread of... More

This is such a lovely hotel. It's lavishly decorated in traditional Venetian style. I thought I was booking the Pisani Suite, but unfortunately booked the apartment. The room was large but in a random apartment building, not the hotel. We were awoken by 7am by hammering on our wall. The room was dirty and nothing like the hotel website images... More

Booked the 2BR family suite and was very excited about staying in a gorgeous old palazzo on the Grand Canal. Arriving in a water taxi to walk the red velvet plank was indeed fun. The communal areas are beautiful-as if you really have just been invited to the Contessa's home for tea or a drink- period furniture, looming oil paintings... More

Stayed for three nights. Waited on arrival for a considerable time before being shown to a suite overlooking the canal not the Conti Suite which had been booked and paid for some six months earlier. The showrr and adjoining toilet were under the stone stair and one had to be careful not bang ones head on the stone steps. The... More

Great service, amazing room. Living the palace life, enjoy the slightly shabby chic of a XVIth century building. LIke everywhere in Venice you can feel the history and culture coming through the walls. Open the window and stare at the Grand Canal, be photographed by passing tourists as the Palazetto has all the charm of a local, none of the glitz... More

The Palazetto Pisani is a beautiful building, cleverly turned into rooms and run by a staff of professional and discreet people. The Bellavista junior suite is large, comfortable and affords a view of the Grand Canal which is breathtaking. Any complaints you read about the lack of a lift, of the stairs or of the low ceilings should be ignored... More

We arrived on a full moon, the city was flooded by a high tide. It rained for a week, and was the most romantic weekend since our honeymoon. This hotel is like living in a palace - because it is a 16th century palace - complete with original furnishings and paintings. We had a suite on the Grande Canal. We... More
