I decided to stay near the station for the convenience of easy arrival and departure. I thought this would mean a less interesting location. To my surprise, once you turn into the lane, there is no sense that you are near a station. It is a great area to be in, with great atmosphere, lots of restaurants and close to... More

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the bus station. It is situated in an excellent location. Is the breakfast was not excellent but Okay. The stuff was very friendly/helpful. Rooms feel cosy and romantic. If I go to Venice again my first preference would be to stay at this hotel again :)

We stayed here in early July and thought it was great. It's a bit outside the Rialto which we didn't mind. It was a 15 minute vaparetto ride or 40ish minute walk (depending on how much you get lost lol). It was especially great for departure because we were flying out very early in the morning and it was a... More

This is a great little hotel if you're only staying in Venice for a couple of nights and don't want to spend a fortune on your accommodation. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and all speak excellent English (and several other languages). Its location is superb as it is only 5 minutes walk from Santa Lucia railway station and... I stayed at his hotel in April and my overall impression was mixed. The location was ok. The service was ok. The room was ok. The breakfast was good except for the gentleman continually touching and retouching the pastries with his hands, no gloves, no tongs. The pastries were recycled from one table to the next. Not very hygienic. The... More

There is simply nothing bad to say about this hotel! We stayed here for one night - we started a cruise the next day.````the area was busy but removed from the hordes of people who cram like Sardines to stay near the Rialto bridge. This is just a fantastic place to stay and with Venice being reasonably small, you can... More

We recently stayed two nights at this hotel which is very short (5 minute) convenient walk from the train station. No bridges, just turn left out of the train station and take the first left ally to the hotel. The staff spoke English and were very helpful and accommodating. There is free wi-fi and the room was clean with A/C.... More

We booked this hotel based on a recommendation from a savy friend that travels often and stays there often. We generally try to stay in the four star range for obvious reasons. While not all all "fancy". The property is extremely clean and well run. Our room, on the second floor, faced the back and was quite all night. The... More

We reached past midnight and was so happy with the location from the train station. Cldnt hv asked for an ideal location. Mr Roberto was a very pleasing man. The room we were allotted for a family of 4 wasnt that great. I have seen better rooms pics posted by hotels n travelers. But since we were just for few... More
