We stayed in a room in the behind building which cost less. Hotel building is rather old but rather clean. The room has air-con which is very nice for summer time. Staff are friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is superb. The location is very very convenient as it is just a few steps from Rialto bridge and boat station.

The hotel is well located beside the Rialto bridge. This is old Venice so the rooms are not big. The rooms are well appointed, and small. The bathroom is small also but ok. We had a room with a view of the bridge. Fantastic. We read about it being noisy and it was. So we closed the shutters at night... More

Whilst the location was superior, our room lovely with a window opening out for a magnificent view of one of the best spots in Venice. The staff do not know how to smile or be happy. The breakfast was ok, nothing flash, but nice to get a table outside if u want toast order it as you are seated otherwise... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of July 2014. The hotel is in a great location obviously next to Rialto Bridge. Easy to walk to St Marks Square and close to vaparetto stop. My daughter and I shared a twin bedroom. We had Room 106 but I had to ask to be moved after the... More

Checked into the hotel and was surprised to of been upgraded to a canal view room. This break was a surprise for my mums birthday, and as a further surprise from the hotel, the hotel gifted us with a bottle of wine on the actual day of her birthday. The view was beautiful, seeing gondolas, the Rialto bridge etc. from... More

This was our first trip to Venice and we stayed at the Hotel Rialto on the recommendation of my daughter, who had stayed here in the late '90's. It couldn't have been in a better or more central location in Venice. Perfect location to visit ALL parts of Venice, either by water taxi or walking. The rooms were very "European",... More

View of the bridge was amazing, in the heart of water taxis, shopping, restaurants. The rooms was beautiful and spacious. Highly recommend this hotel - not too big easy access by water taxi - and it's fun to hang out on the bridge, always something to see

Right on the Grand Canal and next to the Ponto Rialto, it's Venice Central which has it's advantages (step right onto a vaparetto, water taxi or gondola, everywhere is reachable on foot) and it's disadvantages (crowds). Rooms are cozy (2 people and luggage will fill it up) and old school - which is what is to be expected in Venice.... More
