Trip was booked through lastminute, and we used Trip advisor to read reviews on the Hotel Rialto, Venice. Hotel was in the perfect location, right next to the Rialto Bridge, lots going on. Hotel staff were professional and curteous, Porter took our bag to our room. I had requested a double room with a Canal View, we did get the... more

We arrived just after midnight on friday for our 35th wedding anniversary, our room was very small and I am very big so we asked to be given another room, this was not possible at the time of night but a promise was made to change in the morning. We were asked to pack and leave all to the staff,... more

The Rialto was everything we asked for. We booked a Canal view and the room was beautiful with plenty of size, fine bath. No complaints about noise here (I knew what to expect from the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge into the evening). The staff went out of their way to assist when a medical problem came up. Breakfast... more

We just completed our trip to Italy and stayed at the Hotel Rialto in Venice. Perfect location and central to everything. We booked a double standard room and it was near perfect. Only complaint is it was in the back side of the hotel with a window facing an small alley which was very noisy. Another hotel or bar's back... more

We stayed a couple of nights at the Rialto end of April and we booked a room facing the Grand Canal. The hotel it self including room and staff where exactly what we hoped for. Professional - vert service minded, clean rooms and areas, great views - perfect localtion. Basically there's only one thing that pull down the impression, that... more

Had the WORLD'S SMALLEST HOTEL ROOM. Great thing about staying a whole week - you don't have to live out of suitcases. But the only storage we had was a couple of teeny-tiny drawers that barely held socks. So we lived out of our suitcases! The staff was not particularly helpful, and breakfast was just okay. If you can't afford... more

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Hotel Rialto in Venice. We had Room 402 with a view of Rialto Bridge and Grand Canal. Huge room by Italian standards and furniture was Venetian which enriched the experience. This was my first (but not last) visit to Venice so staying beside the famous Rialto Bridge meant i) carrying bags from... more

My partner and I recently travelled to Venice to celebrate her birthday. It was our first stay in Venice and the hotel made the stay all the more special. The location could not be more perfect. If travelling from Marco Polo airport, take the Alilaguna ferry, as you arrive in Venice by sea and get dropped off 50m from the... more

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel and were pleased with our experience there. Having read the mixed reviews we were a bit concerned that all might not be as good as we would like but it was fine. We had a room with terrace overlooking the canal which was lovely. Yes it was noisy... more

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Rialto on March 20, and 21, 2009, and loved it. I had stayed at the hotel on one previous trip to Venice about six years ago, and requested and recieved, the same room that I stayed at on the previous trip, (room 415). When you see pictures of the Rialto Bridge on postcards... more
