I used Venezia as a stop over before another destination so didn't have too much time in the City. I wanted a hotel that was centrally located so I didnt have to spend time commuting to and from the city centre. This hotel was perfect for that. You can walk to all major sights and the water taxi stop is... More

If you get the room with the balcony that we had overlooking the Rialto bridge and canal you will not regret it. Continental breakfast is pretty average. The hotel is a bit if a maze but then how often do you stay in a hotel that Canaletto painted. Not modern but comfortable and well worth the spend.

Location great for walking to all attractions. Our junior suite was decorated in the Venetian Style with fabric wall covering and Murano chandelier , very sumptuous , and being at the rear of the hotel was away from the hustle and bustle of the main entrance. We would definitely use this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is right off the Rialto Bridge which i find it great. We were there Aug 2014 Euros Summer holidays and it was very very very busy right outside the hotel door step . The water taxi from airport or station will take u abt 500m to the hotel door, ppl travelling with big luggages and... More

We stayed recently and were disappointed. Our room , in the 500 number range was out of the actual hotel down a back alley accessed via a door adjacent to the restaurant. The room was super small but we have come used to that in Europe. We did struggle to move around our two average size suitcases. We had to... More

It was as clean as it could be for an old hotel. No real qualms about it, I just wouldn't expect anything special from it. Our room was opposite another hotel which was noisey but that could just have been those rooms. The water buses stop right outside the hotel from all locations including most importantly the airport! It's 3... More

The hotel is a bit outdated but rooms are spacious and bed is comfortable. The main reason we stayed here is because it has a very easy access from the airport. You just take the alilaguna boat and the stop is right outside the hotel, so no need to walk over the bridges or small alleys of venice with all... More

I stayed for three nights in April this year and enjoyed my stay immensely, located right at a canal transport stop it was easy to get around Venice, we checked in and shown to our suite and first impressions didn't disappoint, stunning retro style decoration and a view right over the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge! The service was... More

Chose the hotel for the family room and the canal view and was willing to pay a lot more for the view since it was our first visit to Venice. Knew that the hotel was old and not very renovated so was ok with that. Our room was big but the view was horrible. All we could see was the... More

No complaints with anything regarding our stay at the hotel. We had Canal view room 124 and it was a fantastic view of the bridge and the canal. Everything in the room was up to standard, the bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were scrumptous. The location of the hotel is central and that is a plus. The hotel restaurant is... More
