This is a 3 star hotel with a 4 star price. Location is the only good feature. Its a 5 minute walk to San Marco square and it has a dock at a very short distance. The latter is very important in Venice in order avoid pulling your luggage to San Marco square where most boats depart to the railway... More

The strength of this hotel is its location. Consideration needs to be given to the trade off between the good location and the basic nature of this hotel. The rooms are large however we had a window that opened onto the outdoor breakfast dinning, therefore our room was dark as we could not open the window. The rooms have a... More

The best of this hotel is its location, very close to Piazza San Marco, one of the most important landmarks in Venice. The room was clean and it had a nice view. Bathroom was very unique and clean too. Breakfast is continental but you have more choices than in some other hotels. Cappuccinos were great! Service was very good too.... More

This hotel is not the best in Venice by far but it was perfect for our needs. Me and my 2 boys stayed in room 303, it was very clean. The beds were freshly made every day and we were given clean towels daily also. Breakfast was continental, which was good. The San Zulian is 3 mins away from St... More

A nice Hotel not far from the main Square. Breakfast and the coffee were good. spent 2 nights. a lot of walking, shopping and great restaurants very close to hotel. Felt safe and secure. The room was kind of small but were were also 4 adults. I would stay here again.

When entering what was supposed to be one of the nicer rooms we immediately noticed an unrecognizable odor and then discovered the carpet SOAKED. When we inquired with the desk they said it was still wet from shampooing that morning. But, it wasn't just wet, it was soaked. We were in a hurry so we cranked the air conditioning, which... More

We stayed here because our original hotel had over booked. So this hotel said we could stay after working things out with out previous place. It is clean and only a few blocks from the square. Our room was outside of main hotel in back alley so we had to buzzed in as the street key is not provided. A... More

My family of 4 stayed here for two nights. We were very pleased with this choice that was arranged by our travel agent. The staff was very nice and the hotel and room looked like it was completely renovated. We received the bfast included. It is located in the active a popular area of St Marco.

I just finished a two-day stay at the San Zulian after checking out of another hotel nearby two days early. I wish I had started at the San Zulian instead! Great location one minute from St. Mark's Square. Ice cold a/c, fast internet, working elevator, generous and delicious breakfast, superb service, especially from Daniele, who works days. I paid about... More

Location is great, hotel is basic, nothing special. Staff is very rude but they were able to accommodate for our party of three. Breakfast was mediocre , but agai, restaurant staff was rude. Asked for a wake up call at 4:30am, so we could make our 5:00am water taxi to the airport. No call. Was lucky I set my own... More
