The hotel is well located. The room they gave me was very small and very dark. Breakfast is poor for a four star hotel. The staff was not very friendly I hated having to ask for the password of the internet 12 in 12 hours

We stayed for a couple of days in this quite unique city. The building itself is quite old (500 yrs?) and in some way an interesting riddle to explore. :D It's located very central, just a 2 min walk away from the Vapporeto and like 5 min to Ferrovia (Main Station). The receptionist and the porter were very nice. English,... More

Get off of the train, take a left, grab a gelato and by the time you've finished walking with your treat you are at the hotel. Look up to see where it's at as there are no signs looking straight ahead. The staff speaks broken English which is more than most of Italy speaks. A bell hop will show you... More

This hotel is conveniently located about 2 or 3 minutes walk from the railway station. The room was lovely and large. I particularly liked the authentic chandelier. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They organised a complimentary trip out to Murano and free tour through one of the glass factories there. The restaurant was really nice with excellent food... More

I got a twin room for single - I come before midday and was let to my room at once (the time for check-in in 15:00!). A porter took my luggage to the elevator and then a bit of steps up. The room (395) was big enough and well-stoked. To come to the wardrobe and a bathroom one needs to... More

2 mins from the train station & vaporetto stop, 5 mins from the bus station. Plenty of inexpensive restaurants nearby. We stayed for 6 nights and found it perfectly adequate. Our room was small but clean and comfortable with a good shower. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the free wi-fi was good. The buffet breakfast was plentiful... More

Lovely hotel, breakfast was nice but evening menus were somewhat limited and therefore didn't eat at the hotel in an evening. Nice balcony to sit out on over the canal whilst having breakfast however be cautious of the pigeons whilst eating breakfast. Room was nice and cleaned daily, a tip here would be to request either a street view or... More

Booked this hotel as a treat for our fifth Wedding Anniversary but was later concerned after reading all the negative comments. So to put a few things straight... All hotel staff were polite and met any requests we made during our stay immediately. Our room was a bit of a trek to find (2 mins..I know! it's sad we timed... More

Perfect location to visit all the highlights! Bus/train/vaporetto easy to reach. Very friendly staff, beautiful terrace next to the Grand Canal & breakfast was really good. The price we payed for 3 nights was cheap. Prices minibar & dinner are expensive.
