Spent three nights at Bisanzio and was pleased from the moment we checked in until check out. We were greeted promptly by front desk, asked if we spoke English or Italian, concierge took our bags immediately, walked us to our room and pointed out all room features. Since we were a family of four, they gave us a family suite... More

After hours of research we chose this hotel and we are very happy we did, quiet and we could sleep, recharge the batteries before walking legs off the next day, excellent staff at the desk, they looked after us with great advice, turn left and walk where the real Venetians walk, and we did, we dodged Disney Land found our... Not a hotel with amazing views but very close to San Marco where the airport vaporreto drops you off and a short, I mean short walk through very narrow walkway. We needed rooms for a family so that accommodated us with separate sleeping areas in a building about 10 steps away from the hotel that they own. Room was a... More

My husband and I stayed here during our recent trip to Venice. Our travel agency recommended it and we were quite pleased. It's very close to Piazza San Marco and the start of the Grand Canal but not so close that you hear the crowds at night. Our room felt regal and was very spacious. The bed was comfortable. The... We arrived two days before a Mediterranean cruise to see the sights in Venice. The hotel location is close to the vaporetto/Alilaguna stop--very convenient when you are pulling luggage. Also very convenient when heading to the cruise terminal. The room was lovely--good beds, AC and hot water. Short walk to the Piazza San Marco. The gentlemen at to front dest... More

I have stayed at the Bisanzio many times over the past 15 years, and treasure it! It is reasonable, clean and well located, serves a lovely breakfast,, has friendly and accommodating staff, and is a charming place to spend your relaxation time while in Venice. It will continue to be my boutique hotel of choice here❗️ PM from VA

We love the central location next to Riva degli Schiavoni. The rooms are spacious and clean and staff helpful. The decor is a bit dated and could do with modernising. it was useful to have a gym next door too.

We were at the start of our holidays after our fantastic Water Taxi trip to our first visit/stay in Venice. Well i can only mirror what has already been said. Our room was only a double on the 3rd floor but was large & comfortable enough for us for 3 nights. It was clean & well serviced A/C & WiFi... More

What can I say about this hotel that hasn't already been said! The hotel is absolutely fabulous, from the reception staff to the breakfast to the room. Everything is clean and there is continuous hot water and replenishments of toiletries. Bar prices are extremely reasonable as well. Nicely located near St Marks Square and the waterfront. I would not hesitate... More

While this is a Best Western, don't be put off if you'd prefer a small and lovely hotel. In every way this looked and felt like a meticulously maintained boutique hotel. It is nestled just off the main seaside avenue on a lovely little 'road', but while so close to the hustle and bustle, it is just far enough removed... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the heart of Venice, in a location that is extremely quiet but close to all the principal attractions of the city, the Hotel Bisanzio occupies an ancient 16th-century palazzo that was once the home and “workshop” of Alessandro Vittoria, one of the most important Venetian sculptors of the 16th century and a student of the great Jacopo Sansovino. A recent, careful restoration has allowed the Hotel Bisanzio to preserve the fascination of an ancient Venetian palazzo that is, today, equipped with every modern amenity, to ensure a relaxing stay in a structure equipped with elevator, air-conditioning, LCD TV and Wi-Fi Internet access. Ease of access is not secondary when talking about Venice, where people almost always get around on foot. The Hotel Bisanzio is perfectly located, just 150 meters from the city's main public transportation stop (San Marco - Zaccaria), where all the lines for the other areas of the city and the adjacent islands arrive and depart. ... more   less
