The location is very good despite there isn't a great view. Very near by the Piazza San Marco. The staff is very nice and helpful. The installations are good and the decor is good taste. The breakfast is simple and could be better. The wi-fi in the room is very bad.

Located 5- 10 minutes walk from St Marks Square yet tucked away nicely from all the hustle and bustle. The rooms are very spacious and traditional yet come with a lovely modern bathroom. Our room was overlooking a very small square so we never heard a single noise whilst staying there. The staff are all polite, friendly and helpful. The... More

We chose Italy for our honeymoon and Venice was our first stop. Our wonderful travel agent suggested Bisanzio Hotel, which kept us in our budget yet put us in a great location. She was right! We definitely enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. The hotel has a simple style with nice furnishings. The rooms were small by American standards... More

We spent 5 nights here, and we were very pleased with everything. The hotel is so well situated for the major sites in the city and very easy to find, just behind the St Pieta. The rooms are clean and well appointed and the beds so comfortable. It is quiet, so a good nights sleep is assured. All the staff... More

This was our first visit to Venice and the Hotel Bisanzio was an excellent choice for us. It is close to San Marco square and three of the vaparretto (water-bus) stops. It was easy to find, which is not always the case in Venice! The desk staff was very helpful. The room was nice and the A/C worked very well.... More

The first of our series of destinations throughout Italy, the Hotel Bisanzio staff were so friendly and accommodating. They got the room set up perfectly correct, décor was lovely and our daughters were so excited about sleeping in bunk beds! The hotel is located about 2 walking bridges away from Piazza San Marco and therefore very well located. I wouldn't... More

We have just left this quiet, elegant, friendly and perfectly positioned hotel after a wonderful five night stay. Literally 100 meters down an alley from the hustle and bustle of the Venetian promenade you will find this perfect oasis of calm and quiet efficiency. One bridge and 100 meters from the San Zaccaria boat station, this hotel offers a calm,... More

Excellent hotel with waking distance to water bus, taxi station. Only 800m to the famous St mark too with nearby great food and ice cream. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only concern is Internet a bit slow and no signal in our room as well. Other than that, it is perfect.

Hotel Bisanzio. Charming, at end of alleyway so nice and quiet, friendly, English speaking reception. Our room is adequate in size with European style bed(s) - two single beds placed together. Furnishings are in keeping with an old European city and include two sitting chairs, desk, fridge, dresser and armoire with plenty of hangars. Nice modern bathroom w small shower... More

Choosing a hotel is difficult in Venice - so many to consider and pretty pricey generally. A friend recommended the Bisanzio to us and we were pleased he did. Pluses: - really excellent location. A few paces from the Riva degli Schiavoni and down a short alley yet, for Venice, very quiet. 10 mins walk to St Marks, 20 minutes... More
