We have been visiting the Bisanzio for more than 15 year and have stayed for several days each visit. As a former road warrior, I am acutely appreciative of hotel owners who keep highly qualified staff on board for many years. This is one of my reason for return visits. The hotel is easy to reach whether arriving by water... More

We stayed in for New Year and what a super find, it is charming yet modern and comfortable. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they made arrangements for various concerts, water taxi's etc and could not do enough for us. It was a pleasurable stay and we cannot fault the hotel and its staff, they are a real credit to the... More

We stayed for 5 nights over the Christmas period and chose the Bisanzio for it's central location. From Marco Polo airport we took the Alilaguna Blue Line Vaporetto which delivered us to the San Zacharia stop, just 3 mins walk to the hotel. The cost was 15 euro (27 euros for a return ticket), and the journey took about 1hour... More

We've stayed at The Bisanzio 3 time in 5 years. Each time we visit we remark how warm, friendly and helpful the staff is. We've observed many interactions between staff and guests and we're impressed at the way the front clerks would make the leap between languages and go out of their way to assist people. The hotel is in... More

This hotel is ideally located just a short walk from St Marks Sq and close to many of the other main attractions. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast has lots of choice and the waiting staff were fantastic. Rooms are comfortable and clean. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Venice. Highly... More

Stayed in a superior room on fourth floor at end of November for two nights. Location is ideal in a quiet courtyard up an alley immediately adjacent to San Zaccharia vaporetto jetty - the main transport hub. Easy walk to San Marco. Reception was brusque bordering on rude. A subsequent request to the same individual for an extra blanket met... More

The Bisanzio is close to all of Venice's sites, but sits on a quiet side street. We had a charming room with a loft that comfortably slept my wife and I and our 2 teenagers. Each morning's buffet breakfast included a great selection of meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts, fruit, juices and such in a quaint, clean room.

Excellent location, short walk from San Marco square. Most attractions are all walkable distance. Water transportation nearby. Decent room, decor & furniture are dated, Lobby furniture (reading room with the lobby computer) needs some major cleaning. Best experience is the staff were very friendly and helpfu, especially Mr. G. Brunelli. They do currency exchange without fees. Breakfast continental buffet included.

Finding a good mid range hotel in Venice with good location, facilities and service at a reasonable price is increasingly difficult. Bisanzio has a great location, one block from Riva deli Schiavoni. It is a five min walk from San Marco square, a few steps from the San Zaccaria station of the vaporetto. The area around it in Castello is... More
