If you want to enjoy the beauty of venice and yet find some peace as well, this is a good option. 10 minutes walk from 'every 10 minute ferry' will take you in 25 minutes to St Marco squarre. Rooms are no too big, yet big enough, and clean. Staff at reception was very helpful. They have a nice balcony at... More

Poor reception and restaurant service - staff aloof, unhelpful and misleading. Food overpriced (including a cover charge applied to hotel guests) and the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Lack of guest lounges - there is space but it all seems to be hired out to private users. Room ventilation system inconsistent and unreliable. On the plus side the room was... More

Twin room, very small. Clean and tidy room. Pleasant staff in the restaurant, front desk staff just OK. Fabulous location and restaurant is well worth a visit. Bit of a con is the offer of a complimentary water taxi to Murano Island to see glass blowing. Not sure how much the hotel gets in commission for any sales but it's... More

A nice fairly priced Best Western family hotel on the Venice Lido so not as pricy as the main part of Venice. Comfortable, friendly, accessible if a half mile walk doesn't faze you- we would go again. Beware of the cocktails- they are excellent and after 2 each one sunny afternoon we needed no evening entertainment. (Long Island iced tea-... More

From the moment I arrived, I liked the hotel. The receptionist greeted me warmly and complimented me on my spoken Italian. My single room was on the first floor of the main building. It was comfortable with a scrupulously clean en-suite shower room, and a bonus was that it had an outside patio with comfortable seating. Many reviewers have commented... More

The hotel is near the private part of the beach and not near to the center of Lido. However the city is very small and you can walk or take a bus. Breakfast is good (not very good but ok) and you take it in a very beautiful garden. Staff are mixed some of them are very friendly some not.... More

This hotel is very disappointing, and a shame for Best Western chain. Its an old villa looking nice outside but management has no soul inside. I came to Venice happy and left with a frown...from this soul-less place. Why? I hurt my leg while in this hotel, and had to be sent to emergency hospital in the night. I returned... More

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. I was travelling in Italy alone and spent 5 nights here. Please note that it is not on the main island of Venice but very easily accessible, I took a pass for the vaparetto/water bus which was very regular and allowed me to easily travel throughout all the islands. The reception at the... More

I We stayed at this hotel while on a tour wth Trafalgar. Our room was alright but either the air conditioning didn't work or wasn't turned on. When I complained someone came to the room, fidddled with the thermostat's knobs, said the AC is now working and left. It was no different to before his visit. I understand some hotels... More
