This hotel smells dank and musty and needs whole overhaul in terms of decor. The bathroom of our room had obviously just been redone so that was very nice but the room itself was not very nice at all, stuffy, hot and dark. The Best Western name seems to have very little to do with this below standard hotel The location was perfect but the hotel is poorly run, the female desk clerks are rude and know absolutely nothing about making guests feel comfortable. Claim it is air conditioned..NOT! This was not to say there were no airconditioners, they just do not work... more

The only good things about this hotel is it's location and the friendly staff. The rooms are poor and full of cockroaches. The breakfast was terrible. And all that for 300 Euros. My advise is don't go there. more

The location was BRILLIANT. A 30 sec walk from San Marco, which is the main happening square at Venice. Staff was very friendly & smiling and helpful. Fantastic Position just near the square. Easy walk to most attractions. Take the so called 'Tour' to Murano. It is a rouse just to get you over there and try and sell you something, and you may need to catch the ferry back, but it a beatiful area to explore. more

This hotel is a stone's throw away from St.Peter's cathedral, the focal point of Venice. just returned from 4 great days in venice, hotel great value for money, changed rooms on 1st day as too small, but no problem for the staff, very helpful. next room was very good. asked for tea/coffee making facilities which was no problem. able to replenish milk etc from the bar with no difficulty. breakfast more than adequate. great value... more
