we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the stay was most enjoyable the hotel was in a perfect location to san marco sq, shops and restaurants breakfast was good although dining room looked nothing like picture on website abit disappointing, staff were helpful will definately stay here again more

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and spoke English like they had all their lives. We didn't have any problems with the hotel, just can't expect fancy four-star U.S. hotel standards. This hotel is in a great position for visiting the sights of Venice. It’s situated between St Marks Square and The Pont Vehicio, both a short walk. My advice would be to check very carefully on a map of Venice exactly the location of the hotel before you go as you really do need to know what direction to take... more

We arrived late at night and a policeman guided us to the hotel. The porter took us to our room and the reception staff were friendly and quick. We asked for more pillows and got them within 5 minutes. Had a camp bed which was lovely although took up some room. Amazing bath with whirl pool. CNN news on TV.... more

The Antico is in a superb location--just off San Marco's square. It boasted large, beautifully decorated rooms, breakfast included--even a free shuttle to a Murano glass factory. It was near many restarants, including a McDonald's (around the corner), and shops as well.
