This hotel enhanced my first visit to Venice 100 percent. It is a lovely Venetian style hotel with water views. It was delightful to sit outside in the afternoon resting and watching the water taxis and boats sailing in the water after we had spent a busy day out exploring Venice. The staff were professional courteous and friendly. Breakfast was... More

We had a great stay at Hotel San Cassiano. The hotel has some much character, it is exactly what I would imagine a Venetian hotel to be like! Very cozy and very cute and something quite different to any other hotel I have stayed in. The staff were brilliant form start to finish any time of the day or night.... More

My partner and I visited Venice for my Birthday and stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful Venetian style hotel. The hotel is stunning. When we arrived we had been given a free upgrade to a room facing the Grand Canal which was just amazing. If you can book 218 then do it the view is spectacular. The breakfast was... More

From the moment I stepped into the small courtyard I felt calm and welcome - a feeling that was only enhanced through out our entire stay. The staff was very friendly, serviceminded and everyone spoke English. The room was not huge, but a perfect size for 3 people who intend on spending most of the day out exploring the city.... More

We arrived after lugging our luggage on the bridges to the hotel near the Rialto on the grand canal. It was a nice location. They said they were moving us to their sister hotel, they gave us a drink and provided the water taxi. The hotel looked small, old (typical of venice) but nice. they sent us to hotel duodo... More

Four of us stayed at the Ca' Favretto in a Family room, my wife, my Son (14), my Daughter (11) and myself. We flew to the Traviso Airport rather than San Marco due mainly to the fact that we could fly from Bristol. From Traviso Airport we caught the direct ACTV bus to Venice @ €18 each. We took a... More

Location is perfect. San Stae vaporetto stop. Bed was ridiculously hard. Did not get one good night's sleep. Breakfast was so-so. View of Grand Canal is incredible. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

This was my second trip to Venice. Last time I stayed in the "happening side" of Venice in a room no larger than a walk in closet. This time I chose the San Cassiano and it was almost perfect. The rooms are large, the beds and pillows just right, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing I... More

We spoiled ourselves a little by staying here as it was a little more expensive than our usual travel accommodation. But we were not disappointed. The location on the grand canal was sensational, the room was spacious and comfortable and had a great view of the canal. The staff were freindly and spoke English well. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were worried that we won’t find the hotel from S Stae stop, but we did. Followed the direction no matter how narrow the alley might seem. We were surprised by having 2 rooms in RM #109 for 4 guests, 1 room with 2 single beds, 1 room with king size bed. Our room overlooked the courtyard after couple turns... More
