This was a nice boutique hotel . It is over six hundred years old you can feel the history around you. The front desk staff are awesome especially the first shift gentleman very patient with all the questions and very delightful. Venice can be very confusing with all the corridors but there is always a welcoming face when we left... More

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, close to rigolito bridge, clean rooms with basic amenities ( no luxury in very old building), good breakfast specially if you are lucky to get a table out in the terrace, helpful staff, the only problem like all other hotels in Venice, it is hard to reach the address specially if you... Just returned today from the San Cassiano. Great location, great staff. No complaints about breakfast. The only thing we would change next time would be the room. It was too small, bathroom tiny (the bath half size) and very little storage space. Spotlessly clean though. Booked as a package with Jet2 so guess we got a standard room. It was... More

We stayed at the San cassiano for a week at the end of September, all I can say is excellent, right on the canal 5 mins from the train 5mins from railto fish market, 10 mins once you discover the back lanes to ST Marks Square, super small hotel fabulous staff very helpful and cheerful, breakfast outside on the balcony... We made a good call and booked the private water taxi to take us from airport to hotel. Arriving at 8pm and straight on to water taxi and off at speed across the lagoon to be dropped off at the hotel jetty was breathtaking and well worth it. The reception staff were courteous friendly and generally excellent. The buffet breakfast... More

It's always magical to arrive at your hotel by boat and Ca' Favretto allows you to do that whilst still being good value for Venice. We had a canal facing room with huge ceilings and incredible views. The reception and maid staff were lovely and made us very welcome.

This hotel is beautiful lovely stone staircase, chandeliers and art work. Our room was a little small and also on the first floor but you dont spend long in there!!! Room was clean and so was the bathroom , excellent maid service daily. Breakfast is superb - great choice continental and hot breakfast also ham and cheeses and various pastries,... More

I stayed one night at the Ca'Favretto and was pretty disappointed as I had been looking forward to staying there from all the reviews and pictures. I was given a small dungeonous room on the first floor with the view of the wall next door. All of the furniture and fixtures looked old and worn out including the bedspread and... More

Booked trip via Easyjet. Did a lot of research on hotels before i travelled. This hotel looked great and we were very pleased. We got a private water Taxi from the airport to the hotel which took around 30 mins, maybe slightly less. Fantastic that you are taken directly to the hotel and no manoeuvring of luggage over bridges and... More

Found this gem on TripAdvisor. I wanted a traditional Venetian room, and was delighted to find Ca' Favaretto had small but well appointed single rooms at a great price for solo travelers. Location is terrific, near the St Stae vaparetto stop or they have direct access in from the Grand Canal by water taxi. If you come by vaparetto there... More
