I'm lying on a comfortable bed in a decent sized room having had a lovely breakfast this morning, writing this review. What a lovely place this is. Traditional and Venetian as they come this hotel is good value for money and 5 minutes walk for the rialto bridge. Those with mobility problems may want to get a water taxi there... More

Great location, cool vibe being a 14th century building. Was easy to get around. Rooms were nice, friendly staff. Great views from front terrace, and from breakfast terrace. Was very close to Rialto Bridge which made getting around Venice very simple. Loved this hotel.

This was a delightful spot. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable and ours overlooked the Grand Canal, there were wonderful restaurants nearby which were suggested to us, and a delicious breakfast was provided in a pleasant room again overlooking the Grand a Canal. There was a large pink plastic penguin on the balcony which I... More

We are just back from our stay in Room 219, stunning room on the 2nd floor to the left of the breakfast room balcony if looking at hotel from the canal. Two large windows (we thought there would only be one and got a lovely surprise). Deep window sil you can perch on to take in The view and what... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. We loved the location. While we were in Venice there were 4 cruise ships there too. I loved the location of the hotel because it was far away from all the noise and confusion from the cruise ships. The hotel has a great sitting area in the front on water and a garden seating... My family and I stayed here towards the end of June. We arrived literally right to the door of this hotel via water transport. Hotel: we have been to Venice a few times and each hotel has been very nice. This one was no exception! Ca' Favretto is right on the grand canal tucked away on one of Venice's little... More

My wife and I are just back from 4 nights in the San Cassiano and have no doubt that the hotel made a great holiday unforgettable! I had reservations about this hotel prior to going as the furnishings looked quite dated in the pictures and the hotel generally looked a bit tatty but unless you have been you can't really... More

I trusted the reviews from trip advisor and I wasn't disappointed. Beautiful hotel, Venetian all the way! Even had a confirmation of that when there was a movie star as a guest there! Kids loved it, not too far from the Rialto Bridge, and there are scores of restaurants and shops near by. The history of the hotel was wonderful.... More

We booked this hotel for seven nights in June. The hotel was charming and the staff nice and attentive. The room was cleaned daily and the towels replaced each day. The breakfast room is narrow with a small balcony for two tables over looking the Grand Canal. The breakfast food is self service with bacon, eggs, cheese, cold hams, toast, rolls, tea and coffee. The...
