We spent 3 nights in the Tosca room in April and it was wonderful!!! Stefania is a amazing lady & after talking to her for a few minutes, I realized that we should have scheduled a longer stay!!! She has such a passion for Venice & it's surroundings!!! The B&B is in a great location, just open the door and... More

We have just come back from our trip to Venice and I have to say that our trip was made more special by the hospitality of Stefania and the young man who works alongside her who opened the door and carried our cases up the stairs. We instantly felt welcomed. Stefania sat us down with a map of Venice, showed... More

We stayed at Stefania's B and B for three nights, and were very happy with our visit. Our hostess is second to none in her warmth, helpfulness and gracious welcome. We were encouraged to consider the accommodation as our home, and it was a great place to retire to after a long day of sightseeing. The location is central for... More

Just got back from a fantastic stay at You and Me. As has been mentioned in previous reviews Stefania is a lovely, warm hostess together with her assistant who go that extra mile. It was my husband's 50th birthday while we were there and Stefania made is so special by leaving a bottle of Prosecco and card for him when... More

All the excellent reviews for this place are right. I stayed here for two nights in June 2013 during the Venice Biennale and found it to be extremely clean. I had the "Mimi" room, which was in very good condition – newly-renovated and with a good en-suite bathroom. The owner, Stefania, was so kind and helpful. I have stayed in... More

My sister and I spent four days at this wonderful bed & breakfast and words can't express how wonderful it was. Stefania is a lovely lovely lady and her hospitality is second to none. The weather was dreadful but it didn't deter us from exploring Venice, especially as this location was central to everything. This is a gem of a... More

This is the most lovely B & B, owned by the lovely lady Stefania. We arrived in Venice to the pouring rain, where unasked she met us off our water taxi, along with brollies. The service from Stefania is completely over and above any expectations and she really made our trip. Completely 5* and definately value for money. Posistion wise... More

It was after hearing about the place and its hostess on trip advisor that we decided to book the B&B for over Venice stay and just as everybody has said throughout, Stefania was truly impressive with her hospitality. The place was kept in pristine form and so did our room. It was well stacked with basic necessities and anything more... More

We stayed in BB You and Me for 3 nights back in spring (April) and it was amazing--couldn't ask for a better place to come home to after a long day of exploring Venice. The B&B is pretty and gleaming clean, the kitchen always well-stocked (which is probably why we didn't eat out so much). Location is excellent--right off bustling... More

My New Year's resolution is to write more reviews as I know that they can be very helpful. We stayed in this B&B in April 2014. It was a somewhat daunting prospect finding a suitable place to stay in Venice - so much choice and so many pitfalls. We opted for a B&B and very soon came across Stefania's as... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
