My sister and I spent four days at this wonderful bed & breakfast and words can't express how wonderful it was. Stefania is a lovely lovely lady and her hospitality is second to none. The weather was dreadful but it didn't deter us from exploring Venice, especially as this location was central to everything. This is a gem of a... More

This is the most lovely B & B, owned by the lovely lady Stefania. We arrived in Venice to the pouring rain, where unasked she met us off our water taxi, along with brollies. The service from Stefania is completely over and above any expectations and she really made our trip. Completely 5* and definately value for money. Posistion wise... More

It was after hearing about the place and its hostess on trip advisor that we decided to book the B&B for over Venice stay and just as everybody has said throughout, Stefania was truly impressive with her hospitality. The place was kept in pristine form and so did our room. It was well stacked with basic necessities and anything more... More

We stayed in BB You and Me for 3 nights back in spring (April) and it was amazing--couldn't ask for a better place to come home to after a long day of exploring Venice. The B&B is pretty and gleaming clean, the kitchen always well-stocked (which is probably why we didn't eat out so much). Location is excellent--right off bustling... More

My New Year's resolution is to write more reviews as I know that they can be very helpful. We stayed in this B&B in April 2014. It was a somewhat daunting prospect finding a suitable place to stay in Venice - so much choice and so many pitfalls. We opted for a B&B and very soon came across Stefania's as... More

What can I say that hasn’t already been said here on this website? Stefania and her assistant (sorry can’t remember his name) is just a delight. The booking process was very easy through email contact and Stefania promptly gets back to you with maps and instructions on how to find her B&B. For us, we caught a ACTO bus from... More

This is one of the best B&Bs that we have ever stayed at! It was immaculate, and cleaned thoroughly every day, such that it looked like we had just arrived! Breakfast is self-serve, and the food is available 24 hours a day. This meant that we could get up on our own schedule and had food available for a quick... More

Stayed for three nights in the end of October and couldn't be happier. The thing that makes the difference here is the owner Stefania which does everything possible to make you feel very welcomed (and you do) at her house. She spent a good amount of time showing us in detail the city map with very good info about each... More

Sept. 11 arrived from US to a wonderful greeting from Stefania. All of her rooms are lovely, quiet, cool on hot evenings and convenient to the vaporetta. The breakfast room was perfect with delicious snacks and cool drinks available through the day so if you had a hunger attack in the middle of the night you could help yourself to... More

Do not go any further looking for accommodation in Venice - this place and it's owner are incredible - all we can say is WOW were we lucky to stay here. Stefania is a real, proud Venetian, a lovely woman and nothing is too much for her, and her ofsider Nuwan is the best and very house proud. The house... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
