We loved this place! The accommodation (Mimi room) was perfect, with en suite bathroom, air conditioning and plenty of space. Plenty to eat and drink in the refrigerator, and well situated to access all of the main attractions. The entrance is a door in the wall of a main thoroughfare, but upon entering, it feels like you have left the... More

I just returned from my second stay at Bed and Breakfast You and Me and I am happy to say that everything is still perfect. The owner, Stefania is more like a friend than someone that you are renting a room from. She wants you to enjoy her city and have the best possible time while staying with her. When... More

This is an excellent bed and breakfast and location to stay in Venice. Stefania was excellent from first contact (we booked about 9 months ago), and was very welcoming on arrival. Stefania provided excellent information on our stay in Venice, including mapping out all of the important sights and areas for restaurants to eat at/bars to visits. The room was... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. First up, Stefania was an absolute gem! So helpful, so friendly and left us wanting for nothing. The rooms were a decent size and very clean which makes this place very good value. Breakfast was good, and you could help yourself to all the snacks and drinks in the kitchen 24/7...this... More

Wonderful stay with Stefania at You and Me. From my first email communication with Stefania we were like friends. Our arrival confirmed that. She is simply gorgeous. We were on top floor but getting our heavy luggage up and down those stairs were taken care of. We had Mimi, a twin bedded room with ensuite. Lovely size room, windows you... More

We arrived at the b&b at 7pm and was met with the warmest welcome by Stefania. She helped us with our suitcases up the stairs and spent time with us explaining about where to eat, visit and where we dont need to see in the short time we had in Venice. The place was amazing, really felt like home away... More

This was my second stay at the You and Me. We were welcomed like long lost friends and Stefania's enthusiasm for her city and her pride in her accommodation shone through constantly. Spotlessly clean and spacious compared to other accommodation I've stayed at. The fridge was always well stocked with fruit, water, juice and yoghurts. There was an ample supply... More

From our first entrance to the B&B Stefania made us feel less like guests and more like friends she was welcoming to her house for the first time and without making us feel uncomfortable in any way. The room 'Tosca' was great, clean, modern spacious and with all the amenities you might reasonably expect. Wifi was available in room and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the MIMI room for 4 nights. This is a perfect B and B. It is extremely well located (a short walk from the Rialto Bridge) and located within walking distance of some great neighbourhoods with excellent restaurants and wine! Its' very central location is perfect as we would often leave early in the morning... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
