Ca'Badoer is in a great location, just next to the Frari, close to practically everywhere (not just tourist attractions, but also a coop supermarket and the market at Rialto). I stayed in a pretty and very quiet mini-flat, with free wifi and comfortable facilities. The management is friendly and exceptionally helpful. I've already booked my next stay!

Wonderful location in the real heart of the tiene. Tiny flats, well equiped, elevator. All the best in the best way, at the best price. Kind and helpful the propriety. Near Frari Church, Not far Accademia or Rialto, walk distance. We had a two rooms flat, astonishing view and wonderful light all day long

I stayed in the 'attic' apartment at Ca' Badoer and loved its charm and comfort. This cosy apartment contained all necessary equipment, was quiet and clean and was in an absolutely perfect location in wonderful Venice. Hosts Ketty and Pietro were wonderfully welcoming and helpful. It felt a bit like leaving home after my two weeks' stay and I would... More

We so enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is homey and Ketty has made sure there is everything to start your day or enjoy your evening. The proximity to the Frari church made the area just beautiful. We looked out our windows at the rooftops of Venice and as the evening came the churches all began their caroling. The apartment... This was our 3rd year staying at Ca Badoer. We have now stayed in the South Studio, the Attic and De Barbari flats, and would stay in any of them again. The booking process with Pietro ran smoothly as always. It was a pleasure to meet Ketty again - she gave us a great welcome, showed us around and let... More

My 4 day/3 night stay in the West Studio in July 2014 was absolutely lovely. It has all the amenities of home and is just around the corner from a grocery store to allow you to fully immerse yourself in the Italian experience. Pietro, the owner, is very kind and organized, providing you with a binder full of resources to... More

My family stayed in the adorable South studio for three nights in June. We were met by the incredibly hardworking and genuinely kind Ketty, whose family has owned this building for generations. We were grateful for her excellent English-speaking skills since our Italian is pretty limited. She gave us great directions and restaurant/supermarket suggestions, and we made use of both.... More

Went there with my boyfriend for three nights. We were addressed by Cati and her mix of Spanish/Italian/English we had a great welcome!!! She told us everything we needed for the city and gave us a very good map. In the apartment there is everything you need for a nice break: coffee (filter and expresso), towels, toiletries, hair dresser, good... More

Great place to stay in venice. The room was a good size for us. There is a mini fridge and hot plate of needed. It is an older building so the walls are thin but there is no street noise. The owner was there to explain the place and a but about the island. Be careful you will get lost... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
