Superb location in Dorsoduro. Very quiet, romantic and charming. The Contessa is a very nice woman, and extremely knowledgeable as she grew up in this very house (although it sounds like it was much less comfortable when she was a child). This was a find. There were 6 of us staying at 2 apartments in this well located, quiet and well appointed Palazzetto. The Contessa da Schio was a delightful and informative hostess. We were on the third floor and with carry on luggage, the steps were easily mounted. Might be harder for heavier bags but there are 2nd floor apartments... More

We stayed in apartment no. 4 for 3 nights. The apartment overlooked the canal and was very comfortable and well equipped. We thought the location was fantastic away from the crowds of San Marco but easy to get around. Contessa Anna was very helpful in providing information about the area - restaurants and shopping locally.
