We highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable. The service is excellent at front desk. It is very well situated. Not far from Santa Lucia train station ( you will need a porter though to help you with the luggage through the narrow alleys and over bridges). It 7s very close to a vaporetto stop and has... More

We just spent 4 days in Venice. My wife thought an apartment might be a good idea since we have been on the road for the best part of three weeks living out of suitcases. My daughter, who met us in Venice did some research and came up with these (2) apartments which are associated with the Hotel Al Duca... More

I stayed here for one night as a solo traveller in September 2014, based on Tripadvisor reviews. Wow! is all I can say about my room--it was huge and the furnishings--all cream with gold accents--were really lovely. I had the room with a separate bathroom upstairs and I didn't mind this configuration--the upstairs bathroom had lots of space and was... More

My wife and I enjoyed another stay at Al Duca and it's now become a 'home' to us when we visit every December. Its location is perfect, next to the National History Museum and a short distance from the railway terminal, and a water bus station. We were again warmly greeted by Caterina on arrival and taken to the 'red' room on... More

When you think Venice think WOW! The Hotel Al Duca Di Venezia is located on the main island. Before we booked we read that some people stay on the island where the Mestre station is located and take the train over. The hotels are more affordable on Mestre-- however if you want the EXPERIENCE of Venice--take the plunge and spend... More

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and restful. Great location to the waterbus stop once you find your way! On request I was provided with gluten-free bread at a very enjoyable breakfast.

Its a very nice hotel. We got upgraded to a better room (room No.1 on the ground floor). The room was very clean and comfy. We also enjoyed their breakfast very much; I would say its the best breakfast we had for the whole trip. The staffs were at the reception 24/7, very friendly and helpful. Also a very good... More

The hotel was great and the service could not have been better. The only thing is it is quite a walk form the train station with your bags. You can get some one to help with your bags for a charge but the hotel is worth it.

We walked from the train station to the Hotel Al Duca, but finding it was just pure luck! Great location to waters bus and within walking distance to all major attractions. Room was BEAUTIFUL, but on the 3rd floor and no windows at all for a view. There were skylights which made the room bright and sunny though. Huge oversized... More

We booked a double room at the Hotel Al Duca di Venezia and were given a wonderful apartment instead of the normal hotel room. The receptionist, Michele, was extremely cheerful and helpful. One of the best things about the apartment is that it is located less than 100 meters from a water bus stop on the grand canal. This makes... More
