We booked this on Tuesday and arrived on Wednesday. The price was very reasonable, especially for an apartment. We walked to the main hotel for breakfast each morning and enjoyed the variety they offered for breakfast. The hotel staff was very friendly full of information. We enjoyed the location of the apartment mainly as it was located not too far... More

It is not the easy task to find this hotel. we got lost like 5 times first day, however that is part of magic of Venice.. Hotel was cozy, we got red apartment . Like everything was red. yup. Great breakfast, helpful staff . Grocery store was 2 minutes walking, so you dont have to spend fortune at restaurants

We book last minute at Al Duca and were surprised at how affordable it was despite being the last weekend of Carnivale. The hotel a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and about 25 minutes from San Marco. The receptionist was very nice and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The room was small but was had everything we... More

We had a nice stay at the Hotel Al Duca and would recommend it to others. The directions on their web site were very easy to follow and the hotel was easy to find after getting off the Alilaguna from the Airport. That's saying something for Venice where it doesn't take much to get lost. The location was great, a... More

We highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable. The service is excellent at front desk. It is very well situated. Not far from Santa Lucia train station ( you will need a porter though to help you with the luggage through the narrow alleys and over bridges). It 7s very close to a vaporetto stop and has... More

We just spent 4 days in Venice. My wife thought an apartment might be a good idea since we have been on the road for the best part of three weeks living out of suitcases. My daughter, who met us in Venice did some research and came up with these (2) apartments which are associated with the Hotel Al Duca... More

I stayed here for one night as a solo traveller in September 2014, based on Tripadvisor reviews. Wow! is all I can say about my room--it was huge and the furnishings--all cream with gold accents--were really lovely. I had the room with a separate bathroom upstairs and I didn't mind this configuration--the upstairs bathroom had lots of space and was... More

My wife and I enjoyed another stay at Al Duca and it's now become a 'home' to us when we visit every December. Its location is perfect, next to the National History Museum and a short distance from the railway terminal, and a water bus station. We were again warmly greeted by Caterina on arrival and taken to the 'red' room on... More

When you think Venice think WOW! The Hotel Al Duca Di Venezia is located on the main island. Before we booked we read that some people stay on the island where the Mestre station is located and take the train over. The hotels are more affordable on Mestre-- however if you want the EXPERIENCE of Venice--take the plunge and spend... More

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and restful. Great location to the waterbus stop once you find your way! On request I was provided with gluten-free bread at a very enjoyable breakfast.
