Me, my husband and 8 year old daughter stayed here in July for 5 nights. The apartment was wonderful, so big and so Venetian! Set away from the mad tourist bit but only a 15 minute walk away from the Rialto bridge and about 20 mins from St Marks Square. The owner, Michele, was there to meet us and was... More

Palazzo Odoni is in the perfect location if you want to experience Venice away from the hordes of tourists. It is a short walk from the car park and the train station. Make sure you write down the address. There is nothing but a doorbell with the name of the hotel on it. Once go through the main gate, you... More

We stayed at Residence Palazzo Odoni for two nights prior to an Adriatic cruise. The location is near Piazzale Roma and was very easy to get to from the airport via the public coach buses. It is also very close to the cruise terminal as well. (from Piazzale Roma, take the People Mover one stop) The hotel is in a... More

Our family of four recently returned from a three night stay at the Residence Palazzo Odoni in Venice. It is perhaps a 10 minute walk from the train station, and not too difficult to find. It is in a mostly residential area, with a few shops and restaurants very close. It is quite a distance from San Marco, however; it... More

I am glad I used tripadvisor to find this gem. Location is close to the station and yet away from the crowds of Venice. Since it is Venice all the areas of interest are 10-15minutes walk away. Staying here allowed us to walk around and enjoy the "real" venice. Amazing place with so much character. The owner was very nice... More

Have just enjoyed three wonderful nights at this truly lovely accommodation in Venice. The owner Mr Michele was fantastic and we really enjoyed his help and suggestions for a local opera performance, local eateries and assistance with our bags. The palazzo is gorgeous and exactly the type of place you want to stay in when in such a spectacular city... More

The Palazzo Odoni is a large two-room apartment near the airport bus and the train station. It is an old residence decorated in traditional Venetian style. The first room included a kitchenette, a dining area and a sitting room with cable TV. (Italian only). The second room contained a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom was rather small with... More

Stayed here with my wife and daughter in June 2014 for two nights, was concerned at first that we were too far from Piazza San Marco and Rialto bridge. Soon realised this area had plenty to offer and the popular tourist spots were not that far away once we learnt how to negotiate the route to these places. Close to... More

If you are after old world charm in Venice go no further. Michelle is amazing, most helpful and obliging. The location is great for the water taxi, numerous restaurants and close to the rail & bus station. Our room was more than adequate and certainly made our first visit to Venice a most enjoyable experince.

What we were looking for:
A nice apartment style accommodation in Venice, not too far from the train station, spacious with a view of a canal. Somewhere we did not have to rely on a water taxi.

 General location:
A short walk from the train station and Piazzale Roma

 Very clean. Top marks.
