Once we found the hotel this was a great find for our first visit to Venice-the hotel is comfortable and the staff helpful it is also an attractive and traditional Venice property directly onto a small Canal. Our room had been newly refurbished and was therefore very nice. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the afternoon tea-complimentary every second day-was... More

There was air conditioning in our room but it did not work well at all. It would not get to the back room. The room otherwise was lovely with a private outdoor terrace we had stair access to. Very convenient to most places. Guilano at breakfast was the hardest working man ever. And so pleasant. Always had a smile on... More

This is a real Palazzo- if you want to stay in a palace and imagjne Casanova cavorting around then this place will fuel the imagination! Set down its own private stone step bridge off a quiet campo square its a stones throw from the canal and San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. The public areas are breathtaking. Breakfast is served... We stayed here for a long Valentines weekend back in 2014 and it was just the best place. The staff were amazing - so efficient, helpful and polite. The continental breakfast was just insane! They made you fresh crepes on request and it was delightful. The room itself was stunning and it was really luxurious. They organised a Gondola ride... More

We stayed here for a long weekend at the end of jan. It was a surprise booked by my boyfriend and I must say he did a good job! I was so pleased with our suite we had, lovely big bathroom twin sinks and delightful shower!! The theme of the room was just excellent, high ceilings, lovely decor. Breakfast was... More

You go to Venice. You want it to be special. You could stay someplace fairly nice and feel you got a bargain spending about $125/night...but why not spend a few more bucks(euros, I mean) and have an experience that you will remember for years. Palazzo Paruta is just that kind of place. It's a classic Venetian palazzo. Yeah, the furnishings... More

Stayed for 2 nights in September. Staff were very friendly, efficient and willing to please. We were departing earlier than breakfast and the staff offered to pack us a breakfast to take with us.The high tea was relaxing and sufficient considering there was no extra charge. The room was amazing...clean, quiet and the bathroom was huge. They recommended a restaurant for... More

Difficult one this. Wanted to give it a good review, but all the good things are let down by some weak things. The hotel itself has some lovely features. The hotel is pretty well located, in a nice quiet area of Venice. Weve been to Venice many times, so know it pretty well. Even got engaged here. The Junior suite... More

Hotel was ok and just that. To be honest everything was just well...meh average. It's not too far from St Marks which was a plus but not exactly on the doorstep. Food was pretty bad - that was breakfast only though. Didn't eat at the hotel other than that. Wish we had booked into the Bauer or Danieli to be... More

Stayed here with my boyfriend in November for his 21st birthday. We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to St marks sq, around about a 5 minute walk, but far enough away to have no trouble with noise. There are many fantastic hotels surrounding the hotel and lovely Venecian shops.... More
