It is very close to San Marco square, near the famous shops. Also, you can easily approach to the canals and gondols. Neighborhood is very calm even the hotel is close to the center. The rooms and the breakfast is better than expected.

Dimora Marciana is the perfect little hide-away for couples in the very heart of San Marco. It is nicely hidden away from the "main streets" of Venice, but only 30 seconds away from the bussy small merchant streets of San Marco and about 200 meters from San Marco square and the Grand Canal. The hotel is a small boutique hotel... More

I travelled to Venice with a friend and we booked a twin room at the Dimora. It was perfectly located close to San Marco (just a 5 min walk from the water taxi drop-off), but off on a quiet street so that there was no noise concerns. The accommodation is simple and basic, but charming and very clean. The staff... More

When the hotel that had been recommended to us was not available, they suggested we contact Dimora Marciana. That was the lucky thing for us, because this small, cozy, clean, convenient and friendly inn was perfect for our three nights in Venice. Roxanne was there when we checked in and we immediately felt like we had a made a friend... More

As we approached the doorway from the street (alley?) we laughed that we had made a wrong turn, but alas when we buzzed and entered the hotel we found a warm welcome from Manuel who showed us to our room and helped get us settled. The room was very Venetian - green & gold with fabric wallcoverings and did not... More

We spent 4 nights at Dimora Marciana at the end of April and had a lovely stay there. The owners and staff are caring and solicitous of the well-being of,their guests. The hotel is immaculately clean, breakfast is plentiful and more than adequate. We received suggestions for dinners and each restaurant was good! Dimora Marciana is literally 3 minutes walk... More

This hotel was recommended to me, so along with the reviews on here, I had no hesitation in booking it for me and my sister and we stayed there for four nights, having returned yesterday. Yes, it is a stone’s throw from St Mark’s Square, so a great location. Yes, the owners are helpful and friendly and yes, it is... More

We thank our dear guest for this review; we really appreciate the fact that, despite some inconvenience and discomfort, the opinion on Dimora Marciana is good. As concerns your early breakfast request, we are terribly sorry, we're pretty sure there was a misunderstanding about it. We remember we settled the bill the evening before but we don't remeber your request... More
