Stayed here for 2 nights for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms have an amazing jacuzzi hot tub, which is so great after exploring Venice all day. The breakfast is to die for, and Alessandro is so nice and gives great tips for sightseeing, he also knows how to make superb espresso!!! The location is ideal, right... More

I had a wonderful 4-night stay at Ca'Barba. The location is excellent-on a quiet alley just off the Grand Canal, near a water taxi stop, and a 5-minute walk to the Rialto bridge. The room is spacious, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom had a nice jacuzzi shower. The air conditioning unit worked well. The owner is extremely nice... More

My family and I booked two rooms on July 13th for two nights. I was concerned about finding old moldy rooms, but this place was the opposite. The AC is modern and powerful, the windows are new and sealed well when closed (it kept away the mosquitos), comfortable beds, modern bathrooms with white thick towels. The location is perfect, we... Prior reviews reflect the pride and care our wonderful host has put into this exceptional B and B in Venice. We are here in the hottest month of the year. The air conditioning system is modern and is a comfortable refuge from the mid day heat!

Alessandro is the consummate host in every sense of the word. We showed up two hours late to the B&B since I botched the directions and Alessandro was extremely gracious upon our arrival. He immediately made us feel at home. He provided maps and literature on Venice for my wife and I to browse and gave us great advice on... More

Booking at Alessandro's Ca' Barba was like winning the jackpot for our Venice trip. Alessandro was in touch with us before the travel and was very helpful and attentive, gave us perfect explanations and tips. We were probably the only tourists at the airport who actually knew more or less where to go. The way to the B&B was therefore... More

Two minutes walk (if you dawdle) and you are on the Grand Canal. The location is great and Alessandro is fantastic. He will draw you maps chat over breakfast and give you your uneaten pizza brad or croissants to take with you for the day. There is free fruit, water and cool drinks available to take with you on your... More

If only we had booked another night here! We stayed two nights only as we were moving on to another part of Italy but really wished we had at least booked one more night. On the practical side, this darling place is spacious, immaculately clean and in a great location near the Rialto Bridge, fabulous market and yet in a... More

We stayed 2 nights with Allesandro. He met us at the dock and walked us to the B & B, which is perfectly located in the heart of Venice. The inn is very clean, and breakfast was marvelous. Price reasonable. I doubt we would have found Allesandro on our own. He was referred to us by a wonderful B &... More

My son and I had such a wonderful experience at Ca'Barba. The host Allesandro is extremely thoughtful and kind. He was particularly helpful in making dinner reservations for what turned out to be the perfect restaurant and helped us pick out ahead of time a meal that was one of the best we've ever had. The B&B is a lovely... More
