The B&B was very close to the waterbus station Guglie and hence, getting around Venice is rather convenient from the B&B. The room was comfortable and clean. The toilet was located just outside the room and clean as well. The breakfast served by the host was plentiful with fresh bread, yoghurt, cereal and drinks etc. One thing which we didn't... More

We stayed here for 4 nights recently and we are so glad we did. I loved the location which was well away from St Mark's (it was still very easy to walk to that area) but still busy and so convenient for the train station, vaporetto, etc. Antonio is a great host who is prepared with his recommendations when you... Stayed at Alle Guglie B&B for one night during 10 days traveling through Italy. The host, Antonio, was wonderful and accommodating. He gave us tips on dining and destinations and is very knowledgeable on everything in Venice. He also has tons of books available if you want to read up on sites in Venice or the history. The location is... More

My wife and I stayed two nights in this very nice B&B. Easy to find and just a short 10 minute walk from the main train station. Antonio was a wonderful host with recommendations on dining, sites to see and great directions. The room was large with a nice terrace and very quiet for sleeping. Started each day with breakfast... The location is very near the river bus station, and is around 5-10 mins walk from the main train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is small, but is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good. For the price given, there is really nothing for us to complain about. Everything is great!

The Alle Guglie was in a great location, close to everything. The vaporetto was within walking distance. Tony, our host was helpful with maps and information on local restaurants. Thank you Tony for all your help in Venice, you made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious! We would definitely come back to this B & B!

Antonio, the host, will go to great lengths to ensure that you have everything you need or would like to do, during your stay in chaotic Venice. Being a local, he advises you on the stuff that the locals do, and you feel attached to Venice, despite being only a visitor. He is deeply interested in art, and he can... More

This is a good place to stay in Venice, convenient location with a great host who gave easy directions to find the place and tips on good places to eat. We would stay here again when in Venice. We visited in May and the mosquitoes were out so you may want to pack bug repellant when you go.

My partener and I stayed here for three nights the week following Easter 2013. This is nothing more or less than a large bedroom with it's own very adequate bath in Antonio's top floor apartment in a building at the end of a short, narrow, mysterious (in the way of Venice) calle in the Cannaregio neighborhood. While it is in... More

For me, this was a very nice way to experience my first time in Venice. It is really close to the railway station and also very close to a stop of the airport boat. (Of course, getting lost is part of the charm of Venice, but you don't want to get lost on the way to your B&B on the... More

Cozy and elegant bed and breakfast in the historic center of VeniceThe B&B is located in the quarter of Cannaregio, a part of the city that offers an authentic taste of Venetian life and little-known artistic gems.Only a five-minute walk from the train station, within fifteen minutes of Saint Mark's Square, and even closer to the ancient Jewish Ghetto, this lovely loft is a great base to explore the city on foot and by boat, and to embark towards the history-laden islands of Murano (with its world-famous glass makers), Burano and Torcello. ... more   less
