A stone's throw from Piazza San Marco. A clean hotel albeit small rooms. Found it comfortable with a very central location more

Quaint hotel. Would have been difficult to find had my 9 year old son not walked with his head down. (There is a "Hotel Firenze" marquis on the ground.) Staff was friendly. Our family stayed in two triple rooms: 2 grandparents, 2 children (boys, ages 7 and 9) and their parents. Excellent location. The breakfast room was small and crowded,... more

The only complain I have is that it was difficult to find, no sign outside or so and the entrance was in between other buildings. But the location is fantastic, just off San Marco. The rooms were very nice and the view from the roof was amazing! I wish I had stayed there in the summer so that we could... more

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon in venice and it was mediocre at best... and by far our worst stay in Italy. First of all it was impossible to find -- very poor directions, and the only sign is on the FLOOR, even shop owners nearby didn't know where it was... and the front desk was less... more

This was the second time we've stayed at this hotel, and it won't be the last time either. From check-in to check-out, it is a delight to stay there. The staff are very friendly and even more helpful. The hotel is clean and although not the largest rooms, if you get a room with a balcony they are pleasant enough.... more

We can thoroughly recommend this nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Great location - so easy to stroll to San Marco - and beyond. No carpets on floor - very Italian - so if you don't want cold feet remember to take footwear for nipping to the bathroom! Central light had to be seen to be believed - confection of... more

This 3 star hotel is, like all Venetian hotels, overpriced. But, if you're visiting this amazing City the location of the Firenze is perfect. You can see the domes of the church of St Mark and the Campanile di San Marco from the roof top terrace in St Mark's square. San Marco is less than a minute's walk from the... more

The hotel is hidden right behind Plaza de San Marco, which makes it a perfect base to walk through Venice. Rooms are ok, common places a bit small, but... that's Venice, and the rates are reasonable. more

We were very pleased with this "boutique hotel" which was just steps from St. Mark's Square but on a quiet side street. The hotel personnel were very friendly and were English speaking. The rooms were decorated with Venice glass light fixtures and brightly colored walls and furniture. Our bathroom was a good size. The breakfasts were included and were served... more
