I stayed here for 4 nights over the carnival. The location is outstanding and very easy to find. The rooms we stayed in (though very compact) had everything we wanted or needed. New, modern and ultra clean. Our room was a twin with 2 single beds (as requested) and the beds very comfy (though basically right next to each other).... More

i was visiting Venice for the first time for my birthday so I was keen to find somewhere special. I prefer staying in little b&bs rather than large anonymous hotels and B&B 3C fitted the bill perfectly. The location couldn't be better, right round the corner from St Mark's Square and yet it is fabulously quiet. The room was fantastic,... More

We left the beautiful city of Venice today after staying at the 3C B&B. Like a previous review, I also usually don't leave reviews of accomodation but thought I would in this case. The location is FANTASTIC. 2min from San Marco square and a quick and easy walk from the ferry which is important when you are arriving with all... More

Venice just has to be one of Europe's priciest cities. 3C is terrific value but if that's all it was then that wouldn't do it any justice. It's in a terrific location - 2 minutes from San Marco. The marble floored room, we had, was very spacious and had everything you'd expect from a hotel with 4 Stars or more... More

We were very happy in this b&b, everything was absolutely cared for, including precious tips about where to go, what to see and what to avoid... Our family had a very beautiful time at Venice, last not least because of Fabio Barisons indications - and the good and abundant breakfast he usually seves. The rooms are well isolated, yet in... 3C is just steps away from San Marco and the handy vaparetto stop at San Zaccaria. Close by are a selection of cheap cafes serving tramezzini (the over-stuffed white bread sandwiches) and other tasty goodies. Our room looked directly onto the calle which was the thoroughfare from the vaparetto, but with the shutters and windows closed it was really quiet.... More

My wife and I decided to stay at 3C because of all of the positive comments on TripAdvisor. We do not usually post comments on these sites, but felt compelled to warn others about our experience there. Here are a few highlights: (1) When we arrived, we had to wait for ~45 minutes in the alleyway in front of the... More

I'm very surprised to read this review and I would like to clarify some thing: 1. The costumer and his wife waited outside just 10 minutes not more. It's right they gave me their arrival at Santa Lucia train station time but I arrived 10 minutes late but I apologized immediatly. He told me: "hello" but his wife did not... More

The 3C B&B was an incredible place to stay in Venice. I have been to a few different hotels in the city and this one was by far the best. First, it is very easy to find - which is rare in Venice. We saw so many people dragging luggage throughout the city and we were quite happy that we... More

Highly recommend 3C. It is in a great location and Fabio makes you feel very welcome. His tips for places to eat and drink were very good. Our room was great, with a seperate sitting area.

Staying in Castello

Neighborhood Profile
Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighborhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
