We had an apartment - one bedroom but big enough for a single bed for our toddler and lots more room to spare, so really good. For a few nights the apartment is more than big enough and the decor was really original and the whole place had a really nice feel. The choice at breakfast was really impressive. And... More

Every corner of the hotel has details and touches provided by the artist who owns the hotel, very cozy, homey, and delightful. Made my stay in Treviso wonderful. On Tuesdays and Saturdays there is a huge market right in front of the hotel where you can get everything from Italian cheeses to live plants to gourmet honey or needle and... More

Just back from 5 nights at the Locanda San Tomaso in Treviso. I absolutely agree with everything the othervreveiws say. Quirky?yes eclectic yes..full of character yes (and the breakfast was good too) The owners were delightful and could not have been more helpful or friendly.I would say the that 15 minute walk to the railway station is a bit optimistic... We stayed at his very pretty hotel for one night on our way from Treviso to Venice. The hotel was gorgeous - very attractively decorated and authentic. The bed was really comfortable - one of the best I have slept on! The hotel did prove a little difficult to locate - we had a map that we had printed from... More

Stayed at this hotel in March. The hotel is fantastically decorated and quirky. Very boutique. The owners have personal family photographs in all the bedrooms which make it feel like home. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bathroom is very nice and supplied with hair dryers which is important to every women. The breakfast room is just as... More

Unfortunately we were only staying for one night en route to Corvara in Badia. Late arrival, but even so we had a warm welcome from the owner. His artistic influence is everwhere. Top quality and stylish.Breakfast was good. Beware the Locanda has a lot of stairs. Our taxi driver called the stairways a labyrinth. Next door the Trattoria San Tomaso... More

Spacious, clean and nicely decorated room in good location if arriving by car or otherwise. Just a few minutes walk to all sites in town. Beware of market days when parking outside hotel to avoid car being towed away. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good and included two Parmigiano style cheeses not usually available in hotels, but mortadella looked... More

Just spent a few days in this lovely place. It is exactly as per the website - full of character and quirkiness. If you like formulaic hotels, this is not for you. It is built into the old walls of the town and is packed with individuality, personality and 'dressed' to perfection. There was a good selection of quality Italian... More

Its quite an amazing place, beautifully decorated in a very quirky style with loads of books, artefacts, vintage typewiters, old buckets, family photos, postcards, recycled furniture, fab artwork, you name it! An education in interior design, or stepping into a decor magazine, ideas such as a wine cork for a door knob, or a "chandelier" hanging over one of the... More
