Once again I am suspect because I haven't been here. But my excuse is that I have been researching intensively around Italy. Something has to be said for hotels/b&bs which respond within 24 hours. And furthermore, those which respond (generously) when you have said 'sorry, I've moved on'. That's not a good practice of mine - and I try not... more

Albergo Verdi is in a good central location. The room was very modern but very clean and comfortable, though it could have done with a little more storage. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience more

We had a marvellous stay at Albergo Verdi. When we got there, we were greeted warmly and were shown our room: it looked like it was recently renovated, and it was immaculately clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel is small (15 rooms or so), so it feels kind of warm and friendly, which is definitely a plus. It's also... more

The hotel is situated in a historic part of Padova, very near the beautiful Piazza delle Erbe and just a few minutes walk to the Via Roma. The reception is tiny, just enough room for a desk and a staircase that leads to the rest of the hotel; however, the rooms are well sized, modern and clean, just what we... more

Location is very good : at the very center of old Padova. Very small reception area (less than 10 SQ meters!). Room was clean, of average size and has been recently renovated. Breakfast was very basic. Nice people at the reception desk, the lady produced the necessary documents to allow us park in front of the hotel and provided us... more

Albergo Verdi is the perfect place for travelers with a clean, modern aesthetic. Upon arrival, I was welcomed and shown to my room, with some of the unique features of the room explained in English (my Italian is very limited and all the hotel staff were adequately proficient in English). My room had some features that are more than one... more

Great location, near to the duomo and central squares yet quietly situated in older part of town. Great base for visiting other towns in area too - raily links plentiful. Enjoyed the pizzas next door too! Very helpful and friendly staff with coffee freshly made for breakfast. Room quite spacious with extremely clean bathroom. more

This is a fine economical hotel and a great place to stay in Padova. The interior is modern in the European sense of the word. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sparse and nothing to write home about -- fairly consistent with the "average" breakfast you'll see in Italy. It's close to the center of Padova,... more

We had a woderful experience there. It is so nice to see such a wonderful staff work for you so politely. It is right in the center of the city in the pedestrian area. You can reach all the monumental places in few seconds. Rooms are wide and completely new. Bathrooms are quite efficient and clean. I suggest it to... more

Just got back from seven days at the Albergo Verdi. Padova is a fantastic place an excellent base for exploring the region, Verona, Lake Garda and Venice. The hotel is in the old part of the city and is really close to a lot of bars and restaurants. It is a bit of a walk to the train station but... more
