We stayed for four nights at the Hotel Sagittario in Padua and it proved a great choice for our visit to this region of northern Italy. The very friendly and helpful English speaking staff gave us excellent advice for planning our day trips. The hotel is situated 15-20 minutes from the centre of Padua which you can reach by catching... More

We had a comfortable stay. The hotel is in a quiet area of Padua, with easy access to the motorway. We had visited Venice by train. And that was probably the best way of doing it. There were a few good restaurants in walking distant. One of them on-site. A bit further on we were finding a bit of countryside where... More

The hotel is generally well kept.Rooms spacious and clean.Do not expect luxury... To find the property is a nightmare.Specially as they restructured completely the Padova East motorway exit,so the GPS and maps are obsolete . It is quite and has the possibility to dine in the close by Restaurant some good and not expensive Italian cuisine. But for the product... More

The hotel is good & excellent breakfast but BEWARE - the associated restaurant is a complete rip off - 12 tortellini 12 euro! Pretentious nonsense and you will leave hungry and poorer! Visited early April 2014

Our family stayed in Padova to visit Venice. The staff including Danielle an Massimo were extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spotless. Pay TV, fast internet, comfortable clean beds, great shower, quiet, free on site parking and fantastic breakfast. Could not ask for more. Highly recommended. Perfect.

Great location, away from town centre and particularly good if you intend to visit Venice. The gentleman at the reception didn't speak English but managed to check us in. Room is basic and comfortable. Before departure the lady at reception helped us to book our next hotel. (she did speak English). Overall had a nice stay. One minor comment is... More

On the outskirts of Padova the high (business level) quality of this hotel belies its location in a leafy commuter suburb. Excellent service and rooms, easy to find and superb location for visiting Paodova or even Venice (4euros and 30mins away by train). Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who made us feel very welcome the second we... More

Were it not for the suburb location, this marvellously run hotel could charge 2-3 times the price; not easy to find perhaps but, once done, an easy 10-55 minute drive to car-parks on the northerly edge of the city close to the Giotto chapel. Reception (Stefano) first-class, rooms functional and clean, excellent bathroom, efficient breakfast; this is all that a... More

The hotel was very nice, a great place to stay. I noticed that the main group of people staying there were business travels, and if they like it has to be good. The staff was very helpful, and the rooms were a little small but very clean. The area is away from the center of town so the evenings where quiet,... More

Great place if you arrive by car and want to explore Padova. Close to main highways, lots of parking, and bus stop nearby to get you downtown. Rooms are OK. Not as nice as on some photos, but not all can be lucky .... Staff is very helpful and courteous. Breakfast also satisfactory. Nearby restaurant Dotto di Campagna is excellent... More
