We had a good stay in Hotel Galileo. We had a good price, hotel is very comfortable, close to the city center, bus and train station. Less than 1/2 hour away from Venice by train (comfortable and only 4 Euro!!) 8 Euro extra each person, for using swimming pool, not always available! 3 Euro city tax, pro night, pro person!... More

Difficult to find but nice place. close to city bus stop so getting to central city-historic sites was easy and efficient. Beware of unposted and ridiculous charge for pool usage 18 euro . great breakfast buffet.

Staying in one Hotel in a hot period as the most important fair in Italy for Classic Cars is the best “stress test” to understand if it is a good choice. Now I can say that Best Western Galileo is really excellent. Despite it was fully booked and everyone of us had breakfast at the same hour, we never had... More

I write this review with VERY mixed emotions. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and decorated nicely. One the the staff at the front desk who was extremely helpful to us was Fabio. He was a true gentleman. The breakfast buffet that was served was absolutely wonderful. The reason for my... More

We booked BEST WESTERN PREMIER Hotel Galileo. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation is for AppartHotel, which was a separate building. There was a horrible smell in this building and in our room, which my wife attributed to an attempt to cover some bad smell with chemicals and I thought that it smelled like burned electric insulation... Pleasant week spent at this hotel, where the service is excellent. Breakfast gets a bit crowded but you can get a cappucino on request which is always a bonus. It is very well located for the Europa park and the university. The historical centre of Padova is well within walking distance; an attraction in its own right with added bonus... More

Stayed there four nights and used it as a base of operations for our visits to Padua, Venice and Sam Marino. Worked well for us. Very nice hotel with a comfortable room at a reasonable rate. The Hotel restaurant has the Italian meals schedule; opens for dinner at 7:30 PM. If you are elderly and like/need to eat dinner earlier,... More

We chose the hotel as a base to explore Venice. It basically was a good choice. The hotel is just 10-15 minutes away from the train station. Departures to “city on the water” are approx. every 20 minutes. Unfortunately hotel’s surrounding area is not very interesting. For a family with two children, the hotel proposes a combined 2 bed rooms.... More

Very efficient reception. Very kind (no problem for printing some documents from my webmail). Some restaurants about 400 meters. We choose it for a night before cruising from Venezia, because it's cheeper than hôtels in Venezia, and it has a free parking. The room was perfect. We would come back if we cruise again from Venezia (30 minutes drive)
