Nice big rooms and friendly staff are the first things you notice. The rooms are huge for European standards. Decent breakfast in the morning along with nice indoor pool. We walked to the train station(about 20 mins) to go into Venice. If you want some room to spread out and still have access to Venice I definitely recommend Hotel Galileo.... More

I stayed at this hotel in January of 2014 for a few nights. The hotel is outside of downtown, approximately 30 minutes walk. If you have a car or plan to use public transporation then this shouldn't be a problem. The hotel is clean and reasonably modern, however, the room I stayed did not have... More

Booked 2 rooms here in september -13. Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is clean and nice, near the university. It is not located downtown, so a bit of walking must be expected. However we love Padova, so we are not bothered by this. Breakfast is good. Do not like that you have to pay for using pool, should be included... More

Reservation made through BW site - at check in they could not identify reservation. After some discussion they found that yes there was a reservation. First time after 6 days in Italy where staff unfriendly. Rooms are spacious, but not very presentable for a BW Premier hotel. Room decoration all in red. Bathroom is spacious, however shower in bathtub is... More

We booked a family room which is really 2 adjoining rooms. Whilst it is not cheap there was plenty of space and you do not feel the usual cramped into one room with children having to sleep on pull out sofas (which are generally really poor quality). The restaurant was closed which seemed a bit odd as we stayed on... More

Don't expect Housekeeping Services. Day 3 we asked for towels. The advertised pool is an extra 5E a day. Staff did try to help. Art Deco Decor is odd but that is a matter of taste. Breakfast room Bully at the door.

the Hotel Galileo is a pleasant hotel, very clean, with good size rooms. There are a few things that let it down. No room service option, and no coffee/ tea making facilities, so if you want a drink it's either the mini bar or a trip down to the bar. There is a really nice pool, spa and gym, but... More

The Galileo is a good option to be in Padova for some days. The appartment rooms are quite good and cheap. It's at 15 minutes walking from the old city, quiet and confortable. However, there are 3 questions that I think you need to know: 1. Pots-and-pans: If you decide to be in the appartment because you would like to... More
