We selected this hotel for its value and proximity to Venice. We enjoyed walking through the city as well. The nearby Scrovegni Chapel is deserving destination on its own. We found the room comfortable and were not bothered by the energy saving hall lights that turn off automatically that others have mentioned. If anything, we appreciate the environmental consciousness of... More

I stayed in this hotel on holiday with my wife for three nights in September 2014. It is centrally situated, very close to the magnificent Basilica of St. Anthony - the Patron Saint of Padua. The hotel is good value for money, especially given its prime location. Our room was quite small, but comfortable. The bathroom was clean, except for... More

This hotel was located near the main attraction we visited Padua for. I was traveling with my Aunt who developed a toothache when arriving in Padua. The owners of this Hotel were eager to help and immediately made an appointment for my Aunt with their dentist. Our trip almost ended there until they came to our rescue. The room was... More

Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff at a nice, clean, conveniently located hotel in the center of town. Also a good "home base" to visit other destinations as well. Venice is only a short train ride away making day trips easy. Our room was above the street, but the heavy wooden shutters blocked out enough noise of any traffic to make... More

Staff very nice: if we visited the Scrovegni Chapel without reservation is because of the lady who checked is inn who took the time to show us the city map and explained how the system works @ the chapel.Thank u again,it was wonderful!! Room we had was good, could be a little cleaner, but we had an excellent sleep 200... More

Good hotel. If you arrive by car and have no idea where this place is, do not drive around to look for it. When you have found it, do not park outside to get your luggage. The Italian Padua police will send you exhorbitant infraction bills (several hundred Euros per each) for just having a car in that location. So... More

The location is just off the Sant' Antonio Basilica Piazza in Padua, very accessible by walking and tram to Padua tourist sites. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, very good service, and the restaurant attached was great!

I recently spent nearly two weeks here and can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations in every respect. The owners and staff are helpful, friendly, and competent, the hotel is neat and clean, and the attached restaurant is exceptionally good and economical. This was my seventh trip to Italy and by far the best hotel experience I have ever... More

We used Padua as a base to see Verona and Milan. This hotel is close to the tram stop that takes you to the station, and close enough for a good walking tour of the historic areas. Padua is a beautiful town and has a large student population, so there were lots of young people near the university and in... More

We stayed at Hotel Al Santo for one night in July 2014. The highlight of our stay was the friendly, English-speaking woman at the front desk. She was so welcoming and used the map to help us plan our visit all around town. We took the tram from the train station to the Santo stop and then walked a couple... More
