this is the coolest hotel in Padua . I loved the style and attention to detial . the location is very romantic , by the canal in the old historic centre . SOme of the rooms have balconies overloking the canal and the old town, very pretty. Padua is a beautiful city that is only 20 miles form Venice .... more

Way overpriced. Trouble getting on internet.. So-called suite was tiny--bed uncomfortable. Not convenient for the city center Photos looked far better than actual rooms. Very disappointed. more

In Padova most of good hotels are well out of the city centre. Methis is a good choice if you travel with no car. We had a nice, stylish room on the earth floor, clean, with good space. Breakfast was also good and the staff was friendly. At this moment the best hotel I've been in Padova. more

For what it is, this hotel is very overpriced. We had a "suite" on the top floor which comprised a very small bedroom with small bathroom linked by a passageway in which was placed a couple of chairs. The breakfast was OK but the eating area is far too small to cope with the number of guests staying and, at... more

We had stay 2 nights here. We had the Earth Floor. The room was great, a lot of space and a sofa with table, free minibar refilled after the 1st night, free parking and internet. The staff was worm and efficient, as I ordered flowers for my wife and they got a great bouquet for her. more

A lovely location but we thought it a little overpriced for what we got! A modern style but not particularly comfortable! Air con did not really cope with the heat as well as other places we stayed in! The bed was comfy and shower was good but there was no bath and no where to sit in the room! Breakfast... more

Very stripped down style, so not for you if you like "old fashioned luxury." But an excellent value--big rooms, real king size mattresses, up to date bathroom, nice shower. Neat and clean. Small staff but extremely friendly and eager to please. The barman even whipped us up a light, late supper (no restaurant in the hotel, only a small bar.) more

Boutique hotel around 10-15 minutes pleasant walk from the main sights of Padua. Elegant modern design, young and friendly reception staff, good if basic breakfast, scrupulously clean and decently sized rooms, eminently swipeable toiletries. The rooms improve as one goes up the building: third floor rooms have more light and better views and top floor suites good terraces. Excellent though... more

My fiancee and I stayed at the Hotel Methis for one night on a long weekend to Northern Italy, and I'd heartily recommend it. We stayed in one of the junior suites on the fourth floor, themed as 'air' - the room was very comfortable, and the theme was noticeable but not oppressive. The junior suite was made even more... more

I stayed here for a week in October 2007, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole hotel is stylish in modern minimalist style, yet very comfortable. The (double) room I had was sizable, extremely quiet, spotless and very well appointed, right down to the flat-screen TV. Breakfast was served either in my room (and arrived exactly on time) or downstairs in... more
