Myself and a couple of sales people from our company stayed here for a few days in February. The price of the hotel was very reasonable for the accommodations and the location was central enough to food and transportation that it was not inconvenient. The room itself was average size for Italy and fairly quiet (one of the salesman had... More

We had an excellent stay at this elegant hotel - a very comfortable and quiet room, good breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff and quiet location and yet central for the older part of Padua. We would recommend this hotel. Any request we made was very promptly attended to and it was in the best sense an old fashioned hotel with... More

Set in a historic part of Padua, close to the buzzing centre of town. We were upgraded to the Giotto suite - very spacious and tastefully decorated, as the name implies! Good hot and cold selection at breakfast, although the poached eggs were usually only warm. We received some useful restaurant tips from staff at reception. Overall - a good... More

I stayed at the Hotel Toscanelli on a business trip. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly. Our room was adequate and well maintained, if somewhat cramped. I have no complaints about my stay at this hotel although it did not really feel like a 4 star hotel to me. From experience, I feel it was... More

Located in the heart of Padua, it is ideal. Padua is an amazing place and a super base to use when visiting Venice. We used the hotel as a place to sleep. There are some great places to eat everywhere you turn so we always ate elsewhere. Why take coffee in a hotel when Caffe Pedrocchi is two blks away... More

Positive aspects: It has a quaint atmosphere, historic flair, a big glamorous, old fashioned. Bathroom was recently renovated with good lighting. Good bed. Well located to walk throughout the historic center of Padua. Accessible by car or foot. Negative aspects: Breakfast very limited. One has to ask for coffee. Juice, normal industrial variety. For real juice, additional charge. In front... More

There is hardly anywhere that we go nowadays where we don't study up on the place first using Trip Advisor. So in many respects what we read online about this hotel was spot on--in some ways, we beg to differ. Right on target: Location is fantastic, very central, you can walk--better, stroll--everywhere. It's near the central shopping area, near the... More

At the center of the city, however very unconvenient if you come by car due to the size of the streets. Stayed three nights at this hotel, in a suite, which decor is for sure not that of a four star (but this can be acknowledged as far as you enter the hotel, which is a accumulation of bad taste).... Perfect location as a base for touring the city and highly recommended for its comfort and service. In a quiet spot close to the Duomo, the Palazzo della Ragione, the main shopping street - and a great restaurant - Osteria dei Fabbri. Don't bother hiring a car while you are there as the streets around are tiny and everything you... More

We were planning to stay here anyway because of its proximity to Palazzo Bo and happened to notice the 'Mediaeval Padua' promotion on their website before we booked. For the same price as a deluxe room without breakfast, we got breakfast included, evening drinks and a walking tour of Padua - a great deal! We really enjoyed our stay. The... More
