An okay place in a great location, but bedsprings were lacking and breakfast is certainly not worth the added cost. Still a fine value. Do be aware that rooms facing the front will be lit with floodlights.

MHT is a tradition style hotel, good location and with a better than average breakfast buffet. Our room was an average size with nice French balcony overlooking the street which gave us nice light. The bath was small and generally not a problem. However the small shower in the corner had sliding doors around it and there was not enough... More

Great hotel in the middle of walkable and charming Padua. Charming interior, helpful staff, well furnished bedrooms and large tiled bathrooms. Terry robes and slippers (not the paper thingys), lotion, shampoo and nice soap, coffee in the room and an iron in the closet. Charming breakfast room a floor above reception, overlooking the small garden below. Library area for extra... More

Padua is an exciting city, and the Toscanelli is perfectly located right in the middle of it. The room was fine, quite large, free wifi, fine breakfast, nice and helpful staff. A 5 minute walk to the Duomo and to the incredible daily market with huge selections of produce plus a pavilion with the most amazing variety of cheese and... More

The hotel is in the maze of small streets right in the centre of Padua, which gives it real atmosphere as there are many students around. It is an independent hotel and not large, so has real charm. Although there was some noise late evening and early morning (bottle collection!), like jpecor8210, we found it stimulating and it was not... More

This hotel is in the heart of the old city center. We came there by car, which was an adventure - because of 100 narrow and pedestrian streets you have to drive to reach it. Anyway, hotel is nice, bit on the old fashion side, with the nice breakfast. Would go there again.

We stayed one night. The room we had was spacious and well maintained. The staff were vey helpful arranging transportation from port of Venice to Padua. The hotel is well located. We walked to all the sights we wanted to see. We found the hotel quiet with no issues with noise. Would stay here again.

This hotel has very comfortable rooms in the center of Padua. It is close (that is) walking distance from all the major attractions. We walked to the Arena Chapel that houses the frescoes of the great painter Giotto. It is very close to the major squares that are thriving at night. There is what some may call a noisy section... Very nice, old and beautiful hotel at Padua. Rooms are old stylish but so cute. Breakfast room was tiny, but good food and service. Not so many food to take, but everything was great. Easy to walk Padua old city and very silent hotel. I recommend this one for everyone.

What a pleasure it was coming off the baking streets of Padua to this elegant hotel with its intimate feel. It is Wonderfully located on a pedestrianised street just off the main piazzas but don't be fooled that it will be very quiet because revellers make themselves known until the early hours if you are in the front rooms. But... More
