3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW via mobile

The location of this hotel is superb. It would be difficult to find, though, without a GPS. Secure parking is available a short walk away, at a cost. The staff are friendly, and the superior double was good, with aircon, and double glazing that adequately cut out the noise from nearby bars. We strangely found it hard to find many... More

While the location of this hotel is great (in the heart of old padua), everything else is terrible. The room, furniture and drapes are filthy and the bed feels like it is fifty years old. Breakfast is awful, milk was sour and perishable items were not chilled/heated to prevent food born illness. Sheets on the bed were dirty when we... More

The location of the hotel is just superb. In the hearth of downtown Padova. All the remaining aspects of my permanence here are more appropriate to a 3 stars rather than a 4. My room was equipped with a very noisy cooler, not possible to sleep with it on. The bathroom had some old furniture. looking at the hotels' pictures... More

I have now stayed at the Majestic Toscanelli twice. Each time I have found it quite perfectly suited to my traveling needs. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. THe location is absolutely perfect. Just a few steps from the main Piazze with the glorious markets, around the corner from Palazzo Bo, and about 10... More

When you finally get to this hotel (if you are driving) you will be exactly in the center of old Padua, because after going around and around - always to the left going in - the road just ends at the Majestic Toscanelli. Don't worry, they will park your car (somewhere) and you will not need it again until you... More

The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, all spoke English. My room was very comfortable and clean and quiet. Some rooms overlooking the bars opposite could be very noisy in the evening. The location is near the old part of town where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. Breakfast was typical Italian and very good. All... More

It's like being back 40 or more years: a comfortable, central, small-scale, cozy place which feels like grandma's home. Plenty of good food, good wine and night action within walking distance, but also a quiet and discreet place if you don't feel like diving into Padova's socialites.

The hotel is in the heart of traditional area and even the outside of this hotel was in good mood. The room was enough large for me, cleaned, and amenity goods were also decent. The room rate in October was just around 100 Euro and the performance on cost was high. I recommend this hotel.

This gem of a hotel is in the centre of the old town- cobbled streets, historic arches, delightful markets, all within easy walking distance. Padua is like an Italian "Cambridge". No need for taxis/public transport or a car....just llok out for pedal bikes. The staff speak perfect English and are attentive, breakfast is good (though lots of lovely Italian coffee... More

Finding this hotel in the cramped cobbled streets of old Padua can be tricky. It's worth it, in my view, and you even get parking (a block or so away). The hotel exudes charm - staff seemed friendly, a nice room (with the smallest shower known to man). The bed was comfortable, the breakfast fine. As has been noted, the... More
