We found this purely by chance as it was listed in on of the guide books we were using on our tour. The price was right with parking - which was a plus for us so we booked over the phone and then turned up. What a find! I would defo go back again and highly recommend it, a very... more

This is our second visit and the hotel continues to impress. The entire front desk are all willing to go the extra mile and the service provided is a lesson that major hotel chains could do well to copy. Alfred, who dealt with our booking, is a mine of information and can offer advice on how best to spend your... more

I stayed at Al Fagiano with my immediate and extended family for 2 nights. It seems to be a family run hotel with incredibly friendly staff . From my first point of contact via email til the day we departed Alfred, Anita and Rosita were so pleasant and helpful. The rooms although with quirky decor were very clean, air conditioned... more

Very cool hotel next to Basilica di Sant'Antonio in Padova/Padua, small but perfectly formed with bonkers decoration. All the artwork - paintings, lamps, sculptures - is all apparently done by the owner. I'd definitely go back. Hotel is very central in Padova with easy access to the piazzas and the Prato. Also check out Pizzeria Al Borgo across the road. more

I really enjoyed this hotel, primarily for the location but also because it was clean and comfortable and incredibly reasonably priced. I really enjoyed being one block from Piazza del Santo, which is a lovely location. And the hotel is also one block from the tram stop, so it is extremely convenient for getting around Padua. I did have a... more

Hotel Al Fagiano is in the centre of Padua, very close to Sant'Antonio and the others piazza and very easy to reach by the public transports especially from the train station through the tram that stops next to the hotel. Al Fagiano is one of the most romantic hotel in the world, it appears to the visitor as a lover's... more

We stayed at Al Fagiano with a lot of friends for a reunion of our Erasmus year we spend as students in Padova. The hotel is a typical family runned hotel with great hospitality. In advance my contactperson was very flexibel which was very convenient, because we came with people from all over Europe, which is sometimes difficult to manage.... more

My wife and I stayed here one night on our way to Venice and were very pleased with both the price and the service in this hotel. The location is perfect, just steps away from St. Anthony's, which is a must-see. The room was very clean and the bathroom looked like it was just remodeled. We stayed in the room... more

I stayed there with my family for a week and it was a very nice experience. The hotel is very clean, the owner seems to have designed it himself and runs it together with his family members. The room is airconditioned, the beds are very comfortable and big, the view is nice, the floors are all marble, the bathroom is... more

First things first: the air conditioning in my room probably saved my life (or at least my sanity); you step out of the hotel and there's the St. Anthony; the hotel's closed parking is another plus. The room was small and dark but highly sleepable; even the lady at the desk - criticised in other reviews - unwinded a little... more
