This is not a 5-star hotel but neither does it pretend to be so. The rooms are spacious (by most Italian standards), clean and quite well-appointed. Staff are friendly and efficient. Room service is reasonably priced with a good variety offered. Breakfast is available for an additional cost but if you are on a budget, McDonalds is right next door... More

Located very close to train station this was an excellent place to spend a few nights. Friendly hotel staff and very nice room. Coffee available in lobby. Delicious breakfast with variety of items to eat.

The good news: it's just across the street from the central rail station. The bad news: it's just across the street from central rail station. But if you have to be next to the train station, this is not a bad place to be. Spotlessly clean, has everything you need including a fridge, small wall safe, all amenities, free wifi,... More

Right across from the train station, so perfect if you plan to pop over to Venice to sightsee. The hotel is somewhat run down, with cheap furniture, and is not particularly quiet. During day, there are people audibly hanging out on the street, and at night, there is some traffic noise. However, the bed was nice and firm, the water... More

Was wary after reading reviews about location, but we found nothing off-putting about being close to the railroad station. On the contrary, we were grateful to be able to cross the street and fall into bed after a hectic day trip to Bologna; and the walk to attractions, cafes and city center provided much needed exercise to counteract the effect... Very please with this hotel. Came by train from Florence. It is a remodeled grand old hotel just facing the railroad station. This is an excellent option for seeing Venice; low-cost trains leave often and take only 30 minutes to where the action is. My high ceiling single room with a balcony was impeccably clean; the free (show your train... More

The good (or bad, depending on your viewpoint) part of this hotel is that is is right by the train station. The area is pretty sketchy, and we were (well) advised not to walk around outside after dark. It is a basic hotel and certainly adequate for a one night stay. I don't know what the alternatives are in Padua.... More

We had a very large room. It was very stark, as the was hardly any pictures on the wall. The lack of decoration made it look very impersonal. The room was worn, and needed paint. The breakfast was very good however. There were many choices, including cooked eggs.

No negatives at all I asked for a quiet room and the first one was one floor above McDonalds, no trouble at all to arrange a shift to another room. Brilliant location for train travellers. The new wifi system is great and the breakfast was excellent. Stayed here two years ago...and I would again!
