We stayed at the Grand Italia for four days in September and loved the hotel and the location. We selected a hotel near the train station as we had planned a day trip to Vicenza and were moving to Venice by train at the end of our stay. It was most convenient being able to walk to the station, even... More

Close to train station. Tram station in front of the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Room in A floor is one level below dining room and conference room. I can hear all the noise generated by people walking upstairs and even people clapping hands in their morning meeting at 7am. Try your best to avoid A floor.

Loved our stay. Five nights. No problems, terrific location across from the train station, trams and busses. Lovely breakfast, helpful staff, good beds, lots of hot water. Clean and nice. Wifi worked with no problem. Loved Padova as well!

We choose this hotel because it had secure parking and agreed to our other requirements with consideration. We were very pleased with our choice, and if we had been rail passengers, nothing could have been better. The rooms were immaculate, comfortable, and everything worked, except the wifi. The breakfast was very very good. The staff were polite, considerate and helpful.... More

I picked this hotel for a short stop-over in Padua for the sole purpose of seeing the Scrovegni Chapel. I would have loved to stay longer exploring Padua, but that wasn't in the cards this visit. I lucked out and was able to book an advance rate at a considerable discount. The location of the hotel was ideal for our... More

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located across the road from the train station and not far to walk to the key attraction in Padua (Cappella degli Scrovegni). Otherwise it is about a 20 minute walk to the old city centre (although one can catch a tram near the hotel). I had a single room which,... More

Extremely convenient, as just across the road from the railway station. No problems whatsoever in relation to the so called 'undesirables' in the area - just a few young men hanging around outside a couple of cheap fast food joints. The staff on reception were without exception friendly, well informed and extremely helpful. The room was clean and well kept,... More

Very good reception from the crew, WI-FI excelent, Parkink before check-in necessary but, it is a block from the Hotel, and yhe manager of the Parking ( covered) follows you till the front of reception. The unploees aroud the Hotel are very common in these days in Italy, and are not dangerous, because there are Police cars all around. Here... More

We read the reviews about this hotel and the problems of ‘undesirables’ hanging around outside. There was a little bit of that but nothing to get worried about. It is in a great spot – on the doorstep of the train and bus station. Reception was friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size, comfy bed, aircon and a... More
