Very good reception from the crew, WI-FI excelent, Parkink before check-in necessary but, it is a block from the Hotel, and yhe manager of the Parking ( covered) follows you till the front of reception. The unploees aroud the Hotel are very common in these days in Italy, and are not dangerous, because there are Police cars all around. Here... More

We read the reviews about this hotel and the problems of ‘undesirables’ hanging around outside. There was a little bit of that but nothing to get worried about. It is in a great spot – on the doorstep of the train and bus station. Reception was friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size, comfy bed, aircon and a... More

Not anything bad to say for this hotel. Location is good, only minute and you are on railway station. Yes, in front of hotel hanging bumsters, but also lot of polices, so we fell safety. Parking garage is only 50m away from hotel. If you travelling by car, you should first park car, because front of hotel are not possible... More

This hotel was right across the street from the train and bus stations making it extremely convenient. The outside of the building did not look like much but inside the rooms were clean and updated. The staff were very, very friendly and helpful to us. When we had a small problem with the lock on our door, they tended to... More

I chose this hotel for its location near the station and the Giotto frescoes. I agree with other reviewers that the area is iffy at night, particularly as a lone woman having to go out in the evening. My room was reasonably appointed except there was no shampoo, bath or shower gel, and only a little loo paper the first... More

Friendly staff, great breakfast in room with nice pictures, clean room and bathroom... To reccommend for couples, singles or big family. Some weird people near hotel, but still safe area, with plenty of great architecture, shops and parks... Bravo!

This Hotel has clearly seen grander days but it has by no means let itself go. The lobby staircase and the room were both of epic as well as epoch proportions. The room was very large with very high ceilings. Not all of the power points worked but there were plenty that did. Staff were helpful and cleaning was good.... More

stayed at the grand'italia for one night and it did not disappoint! very conveniently located (just steps from the train station), nice staff and clean/quiet rooms, with good wi-fi... some travelers may be a little disconcerted by the riff-raff hanging around in the vicinity of the hotel, but that's a train station issue, not a hotel issue! the breakfast was... This hotel is very conveniently located across the street from the r.r. terminal. There is a tram stop nearby. But this is not the best tourist location. The area near the former justice palace would be better.

My wife and i stayed at the Hotel Grand Italia in May for 4 nights it was our first time in Italy. We were not disappointed the location was good opposite the train station the room and breakfast were very good. The only problem is when you first arrive the area outside the hotel might look a little seedy but... More
