Having tried out a few hotels in Padua, the main challenge is to find one which is both good and centrally located. The Plaza is indeed a good compromise, being within walking distance of the city centre. It may not be a hip boutique hotel but it is comfortable, and I was able to negotiate a good deal for an... Getting into this hotel is like getting into the movie with Audrey Hepburn. But it's nice. No complains. Everything is clean, working and in great shape. Nostalgic feelings just add something different to your stay. Street outside is noisy on weekdays, when Italians on their motorbikes are getting to work. Advantages: central square is just 5 min walk away and... More

We stayed at the hotel 1 night for a concert. The hotel is generally clean and placed in a good position, close to the downtown and a nice shopping area. Breakfast is ok, but poor. We did not like the manner of the personnel at all. The welcome was cold and it was hard to get some information about the... More

For a hotel located in the business district, this establishment requires a major renovation. The facade is very old, reception area is dark. One female front desk person is friendly though there's some language barrier. The guy standing next to her was minding his own business and not smiling not acknowledging my presence. When I tried to ask for help,... More

Old hotel, has made an effort to update the facilities, but some things are missing. Like accessible, conveniently placed outlets in the room; wifi to which you don't have to sign in everytime you return and that doesn't expire after so many hours; like a better mattress, mine was very hard; like sheets that fit the mattress (unbelievable!). And most... More

The hotel is worn out, breakfast -unsatisfactory. Especially bad things: while entring the room I realized that the bathroom had not been cleaned after the previous guests. I informed the guy at the reception about it, but he even did not apologize for that! And in general, behaved in an impolite way. In the other room, which they finally gave... More

After two weeks in Italy, or last two nights were in Padua. The Plaza was a wonderful finish to a great vacation. Clean, comfortable, the rooms were very good. The staff was attentive and very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Very good hotel. Has excelent location and breakfasts. But has view to very noisy street from some rooms. They process passports too long and they propose not to wait for finish and just receive passports on reception in an hour...

The hotel is located around 5-10 min walk from the center and 20 min from the train station. It is a place well past its glory days with outdated furnishings. Everything had an old and slightly dirty feeling-especially the carpet. I did not dare walk on it barefoot. The rude staff on the front desk did not help matters. Carlo... More

This hotel is well located close to the historic centre. The rooms was large and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. An excellent choice for a short stay. I must say I was disappointed in the breakfast.
