While visiting a conference in the nearby conference center, I stayed at this small but nice hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was both friendly and helpful. The breakfast contains all the necessary stuff (and more), the wifi worked great and there are a couple of good restaurants nearby. This is a decent 3 star... More

We stayed at the small Royal Hotel but found it very inconvenient for traveling around as the hotel is located on the outskirts if the city. However a clean, comfortable hotel and friendly staff. A bit pricey though considering that there are no shops around.

Admittedly we took a number of wrong turns, but this hotel was a bit further than we intended to walk with our packs. Would be a good choice if driving though. Quiet neighbourhood, nothing happening after dark, but an easy bus ride to town. Room spacious, staff average with a little English. A mixed bag, would choose a more central... More

This proved an excellent choice for a two night sight-seeing stay in Padua. Within walking distance of the old town if you are fit and reasonably active, yet in a "real" suburban, Italian area, this hotel provides everything you would expect of a functional, short stay hotel with the added bonus a staff who are genuinely helpful and a nearby... The Hotel was OK but the receptionist was terrible. When we paid for the room the receptionist took by "mistake" 8 euro more for the city tax and when we woke to his attention after a while he gave us the money back. We got a room with separate beds although we're a couple and booked a double bed. The... More

The Small Hotel Royal in Padova is a located outside the city center. There are public transport going downtown, but we did not explore this option. Our impression is that the best way to reach the hotel is by car. The hotel has complementary parking. The Small Hotel Royal provided good value for money, but somehow we found it an... More

Friendly service in the hotel. Good breakfast. However: We found a connected webcam, which was pointed at the bed. It was placed on the TV and was equipped with a transmitter unit. We have pulled all the plugs - but it still remained a dingy feeling. The hotel is very noisy, when it is fully booked, as it was in... More

The services and the rooms are perfect. Is indicated to avoid the last floor because are attick and is a big noise if is raining. The bus station is near the hotel and the ticket cost 1.2 euro. Overall a nice, clean hotel with great services in a quite location

Firstly, this hotel is not easy to find. It's not close to the city center, public transport is unreliable in the area. The room was cold - the AC apparently works only in the summer, in the winter the heating is from small radiator - not enough to warm up the room. The bathroom had no heating at all. The... More
