Stayed for three nights at the beginning of June. Hotel was a great place to stay, convenient for train station and a short walk into Padua, a lovely city. We had a spacious room with a balcony and very modern bathroom. The hotel was a cool, welcome place to return to after a day's sightseeing. The staff were pleasant and... More

We stayed here Friday night. When we arrived everyone was very nice. When we got to our room we discovered the heavy glass patio door was broken and only secured with shipping tape. We were told the door was broken by the previous occupant earlier that day. I was concerned with my personal safety that the door could easily fall... More

After reading some great reviews regarding this hotel we were a bit dispointed in several areas. The rooms were spacious and nice but there was no tea/coffee making facilities. Reception told us that they would provide hot water if needed. They didn't tell us that they would charge us E2 for a tea bag! Our air conditioning broke down on... More

Nice, small size hotel, friendly personel, spacious room in garden which appeared to leak with rain storms, and the roof creaks at night when it cools down, also no WIFI in this room. Good breakfast. Reasonably close to city center.

We stayed 4 nights, the end of April/early May. I laughed, just reading doug s's ''not impressed'' review. We had the same room, back at the end of the rear courtyard, and had many of the same issues with this room. This is a quite large room, and is very pretty... This hotel had such great reviews we were expecting a great experience. However we were given a room not in the main building that reminded me of a cave. The room was not clean (cheese in frig), it was stuffy and AC was not available so we opened windows which invited the local mosquitoes to have a feast. here is... More

The room was good value for money, clean and newly decorated. However, as someone else pointed out the Manager (owner?) is pretty rude and unhelpful. When we arrived, the reception was unattended for about 15 minutes, not a good impression at a peak of day. When he finally arrived he was more interested in taking phone calls than checking us... Very nice hotel. Located in quite place just 10 minutes walk from Piazza del Signori. Hotel seems to be recently opened. Everything is new and shining. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Especially I would like mention that hotel is very quite. Just after arriving we thought that the hotel is empty, but on the breakfast we realized, that there... More

We stayed here for a week as hotels in Venice are more than twice the price and its easy to get there from the airport on the bus. The hotel is a ten minute walk from Padua station and the train takes you to the heart of Venice. We also visited Verona and spent two days in Padua, a lovely... More

The Hotel Patavium is situated in a great location and is very reasonably priced. The room we stayed in was modern, minimally decorated with a very comfortable bed. The problem for us was the manager. He is incredibly unhelpful. He didn't acknowledge us when we arrived but carried on his conversation. We had a lot of luggage and had a... More
