We had the pleasure of spending two nights at Auberge de la Maison prior to my husband running the CCC race, which starts in nearby Courmayeur. We arrived late in the afternoon and were ushered into a haven of warmth and comfort, traditional down to the sawn timber tiles which clack underfoot. It is immediately apparent that this is a... We have stayed at this hotel in the ski season and have always been impressed with the level of service we have received. Staff are always helpful and very accommodating, We had a great room with a large balcony (103) i think. Great meal in the restaurant, worth a try, on another night we got the shuttle to the centre... More

We stopped to break a long journey from the UK to Tuscany. It is the first place you get to at the Italian end of the Mount Blanc Tunnel. Very welcoming staff in this traditional chalet hotel with a lot of 4 star touches. Great room with a large balcony overlooking Mount Blanc. Nice location in a small village away... More

Arriving the hotel you will fast understand that you will bw taken care of. We got there late in the evening and ate a good dinner made for nine people even if the kitchen was closed. The hotel is placed outside courmayeur but the hotel shuttle served us with a smile. The receptionist almost cried when I started to carry... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst walking TMB. Hotel is outside Courmayeur but on demand shuttle bus so posed no problems for us. We had the most beautiful large bedroom with views of Mont Blanc from balcony. Hotel staff very helpful. As others reviewers have said more old fashioned formal style, not saying this a negative comment but may want... More

Yes,the beatiful location of hotel, the large mountain cottage with very good cleanliness. The staff is a little off. The restaurant is expensive, menu is stereotyped and food is common. The choice from menu is at third day of your stay the big problem. There is not the effort from the staff to improve the choice of dishes. Courmayeur is... More

The building is quite amazing, with woodwork and very plush furniture everywhere. Our room was very nice with a terrace overlooking the mountains. The room included a nice couch, wood floors and trim and a nice tiled bathroom. The place felt a bit formal to us, certainly more so than the typical hotel we stay in, but that was not... More

When we first arrived we was a little disappointed because we thought that the hotel was in the main village of Courmayeur but the view of Mount Blanc from the room more than made up for this. We stayed here for 4 nights and the service and the hotel was great. The check in was friendly everything was explained to... More

I booked this place for me and 11 pals. Half way though our Tour du Mont Blanc. A welcome change from the refuges on other nights. Great service, cool little hotel, great rooms and a fine reception area of charming rustic rooms to relax in. Could not fault the place and 12 hungry blokes were thrilled by the sumptuous breakfast... More
