My family stayed at the Perruquet for a week in January 2008. We rented two rooms and had a superb ski holiday in the Italian Alps. The Perruquet hotel is a family-run establishment that limits itself to B&B only. There are 16 rooms for a total of 32 bed spaces and the staff provide a very personal experience to their guests. It has a small bar that is not noisy - if clients get too loud, they are shown the door.
Rooms are basic (perfect for ski holidays) but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is standard for Europe - cold cuts, cheese, cereals, yogurt, assorted breads and tea/coffee. Rates are highly reasonable and the location, right on the main pedestrian street, is unequalled. Ski lifts are 50 meters from the heated ski room while shopping, entertainment and restaurants are everywhere.
As the Breuil-Cervinia ski resort shares the opposite side of the Matterhorn with Zermatt, the quality and variety of ski terrain is outstanding. An international ski pass...
