Terrific hotel. As previously stated staff are excellent and very friendly. Our room was excellent, but our friends had a much less spacious room for the same price which they got changed to one without a balcony. The afternoon coffee and cakes and the pre dinner snacks were delicious, but the highlight was dinner. Have ski-ed every year now for... More

This hotel is definitely one of the best skiing hotels we have stayed in. The hotel is spotless and the food and service is excellent. This was the first time that we had stayed in Italy for a skiing holiday having been spoiled in Austria but I would not hesitate to return to this hotel and this resort. The hotel... More

We just recently came back from a weeks skiing in Cervinia and we stayed in the Bucaneve for a week. I can safely say this was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The owners of the hotel are great and will go... More

We have just returned from a one week stay at this hotel and have only fantastic things to say about it. We only left this morning but I have felt compelled to provide a review straight away it was so good! This is certainly the best ski accommodation I have ever stayed in and we've skied for years. It is... More

The Hotel Bucaneve has played host to my short solo visit to Cervinia recently. I think what impressed me most was how quickly they were to go that extra mile by offering me half board free of charge when I only paid for a stay with breakfast. I guess it was good to trust the locals when they said it... More

Small (circa 20 room) four star hotel, close to chair lifts (150metres) and semi pedestrianised centre and with free on call hotel lift to main gondola station, but not ski in, ski out. Friendly and helpful owner and staff with very attractive main dinning room and smaller more private dinning rooms, several small lounges and small but well designed warm... More

Half board, adding 10 Euros to B&B plan, includes afternoon sweets buffet would be highly recommended. We enjoyed the meals which offer good varieties and choices and learned a lot about Italian cuisine. The housekeeping attendants’ job was also appreciated that not only guest rooms but the ski and boots rooms have always been kept warm and clean.

We just returned from one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in, The Bucaneve (Snowdrop). Not only was the accommodation excellent, but the ambiance of the whole hotel so good, the staff were really nice and fun to be with. The hotel is owned by the Family Maquignaz who are just very nice people. We were on half-board... More

We've just spent 2 weeks staying at this lovely hotel and would be hard pressed to find fault. The location in relation to the slopes is excellent, the internal amenities pretty much satisfy young and old alike, the rooms are spacious and accommodating and the spa facilities are the best we've experienced in our 10 years of coming to ski... Just returned from a week's skiing in this beautiful part of Italy. Hotel is just 3 or 4 mins walk to the Cretaz chairlifts and the moving carpet to the nursery slope. The Bucaneve was exceptional- from the comfy lounge areas and welcoming reception and bar staff, to the lovely deluxe bedroom with separate lounge area. Fabric instead of wall paper... More
