We stayed here for Christmas week, and I ended up with extremely mixed feelings about this hotel. It is definitely not a 4-star, more like a mid-range 3-star, but in reality that is what we had expected for the price. So, let's start with the positives: Fab location Ski equipment dedicated lockers with boot heaters Good size room with plenty... More

We stayed at the Hotel Europa through Crystal ski over Christmas week. The location is very good, with just a quick 2 min walk to the Cretaz chairlift, or 2 min walk to the high street. (The hotel is located at the top of the high street). Heated ski boot room with lockers which are shared with another room. (If... More

Overall it was a very pleasant stay in Europa Hotel, Cervinia. We were lucky enough to spend the Christmas period in the hotel. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful- speaking good English. And the rooms were a good size with a bath, television and fridge which was nice. The rooms were quiet making great night sleeps.... More

We stayed for a week to ski just before Christmas. The location was very good, at the top of the high street and less than 5 minutes' walk to the chairlifts which give access to the whole ski area. There is a really good heated basement room with ski lockers, each of which is shared between two hotel rooms. The... More

close to ski slopes and that is the end of positive feelings. average rooms (not too big, bathrooms old and not too fresh), average food (for Italy even below average), below average pool, average service. acceptable, but I guess there are better places.

A great place to stay, full of mountaineering history. The situation is unsurpassed for scenery and access to easy walks and ascents. We received a discounted price of 76 euros per night for a double room with a balcony that looked out on the S. Ridge and East face of the Matterhorn. The hotel was clean and spacious, parking was... Good hotel with excellent facilities and customer service about 3 minutes walk from the cretaz chairlift and nursery slope. We got a good discounted package deal with a free child place, so found it excellent value on that basis. The pool was cool, but warm enough to stay in and we weren't charged extra for other spa facilities. The playroom, games room... More

The hotel is dated, with very small rooms. The health suite is good, although you'll need goggles if you venture into the pool as whatever they put in it is too much and it attacks your eyes. Breakfast was nutritious - although unless you like your eggs scrambled, be prepared to pay extra ( 2 euros for a boiled egg).... More

What a lovely place to stay! My wife and I were there for the last week in January. The hotel is perfectly placed 50m from the piste, at the top of the high street. Ok, it is quite 70s inside, but it doesn't matter. It is well kept and clean. The food was lovely! There was an extensive hot or... More

We booked a family room at over 200 Euro's per night. Upon arrival at the hotel late at night we found there were no car parking spaces left so we had to resort to effectively 'dumping' the car. Our room was tiny which was not consistent with the description and to say it was so hot is an understatement. We... More
