My last report on this hotel was back in 2005. Time for an update...because of the success of earlier stays I've returned with large and small groups several times since then and I have to report that it still ticks all the right boxes. Very friendly staff and great facilities just a short walk from the centre of town (so... more

We had chosen this hotel on the basis of rave reviews on Tripadvisor about the food. Sadly, there has been a change of chef and the standard now is adequate but nothing exciting, although one or two nights were of a better standard. The 'salad buffet' was simply three plain bowls of tomatoes, lettuce and red chicory, and the vegetarian... more

Cervinia is a beautiful ski resort, and there are many small hotels. I went to Cervinia with my fiancé and eight friends, and we all stayed at Hotel Edelweiss. It is a decent little hotel but definitely overpriced. The breakfast is bad (small selection of food, bad bread, etc), the service is so so, and the rooms have seen better... more

Been meaning to write up this review since we came back! We stayed in Hotel Edelweiss for a week in February. The hotel was a short walk from the centre of the town but had a ski bus to take you to the lift in the morning so no problem getting to the action. The rooms are pretty basic but... more

Wow! What a truly perfect holiday. The Hotel Edelweiss is the best I have ever stayed in! The food is truly outstanding, four courses every night (you will not go hungry!!), the chef is fantastic and has a real passion for cooking fpr such a young man... everything from pasta, soups, seafood, venison, beef, pork, chicken, and anything else you... more

I really loved this hotel and it exceeded my expectations on all fronts. The food was amazing; four courses every night. I loved the staff; they tried so hard to please people and were very sweet and accepting of our terrible Italian! The rooms were clean and had great showers, especially for standing in after a whole day of skiing. more

We stayed at the hotel last year and really had a good time, despite the bad conditions. The room was quite basic but the food more than made up for it - every night was a four course bonanza which made the hotel really good value. I would definitely recommend it as a base for a ski holiday. more

Stayed at the Edelweiss 9 - 13 April 2006 with family for skiing hols. Our second trip in two years to Cervinia, last year we stayed at the (more expensive) Hotel Europa. Edelweiss did not disappoint with comfortable rooms (better than the Europa's "standard" rooms in our experience), good breakfasts (so long as you avoid the coffee) and a decent... more
