Just back from a lovely weekend with my husband in Cervinia. We planned to go summer skiing on Plateau Rosa' for a couple of days and decided to stay at the Hermitage Hotel as I have always find the Relais and Chateaux hotels really beautiful and charming and once again I wasn't disappointed. We arrived on Friday evening and were... More

Probably the best skiing hotel we have stayed at. Exceptional service with quite the friendliest and most helpful staff not only of any skiing hotel we have been to, but probably of any European hotel. The shuttle service from the hotel to the slopes works phenomenally well also. The staff were really nice with our kids and all in all... More

I've been at this hotel already three times , and always found a homily atmosphere , the family owning the hotel makes you at ease , from the courtesy of the professional check-in , to the service , the choice of beautiful rooms in a tipical mountains style but with all the comforts . The excellent restaurant , with its... More

We just spend the NYE week at Hermitage for the 2nd time, and already reserved next rooms for next year. I have no idea how many hotels I visited in my life, but this place is special: their ability to make you feel like one of the family, like their most special guest, like it matters to them that YOU... While there are many superlatives for this hotel, what sets it apart from others is the service. The staff are genuine in approach, attentive, anticipate guests' wishes, friendly in disposition without being overly familiar, and unlike lesser establishments which seem obsessed with cost cutting, are at a high staff: guest ratio. You are never attempting to 'catch the eye' of... More

The hotel is definitely ok but not really better than that. The decor is good quality but rather dated in style and the food was very ordinary. It seems as though the owners are running it the way that they have always done without looking round to see what other hotels are doing. It was the most expensive hotel of... More

A great family run hotel which is located in a charming area of Cervinia, has bundles of charm and all the staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food is truly excellent and I have no reservations about recommending the hotel and personally I have been staying at the hotel for the last 10 years and have never been disappointed.

We are regular visitors to the Hermitage, and we really cannot praise the hotel highly enough. The service is top class, the accommodation delightful, and beautifully looked after. The restaurant never disappoints, both with the quality and variety of dishes, always impeccably cooked and served. It also has a beautiful spa, again with five star service. We do of course... More

Family owned hotel that makes you feel at home. The staff was the best, playing with the kids, helping us with everything. The food was excellent, we gained a few kilos. The bar was fantastic together with the staff.

Never in my life have I stayed at a hotel with such outstanding food. Absolutely stunning. The hotel itself is cozy, although as I went during skiing season I didn't sample the other facilities. The food is astounding. Service is excellent - attentive yet discrete. No other hotel has come close to this in my experience. Did I mention how... More
