A chance find during a road trip found this large classic style hotel. Somewhat slightly dated with the decoration and soft furnishings in some rooms but I learnt later that the hotel is going through a refurbishment plan floor by floor. The staff could not be more helpful and pointed me in the direction of some local sights to see,... More

The hotel is in very good location, all sight seeing places are at walk able distance of 5 -10 minutes. It is near from railway station and Savda bus stand. Hotel looks fine from outside and inside. The person at reception is good. Lift is very small, for people with heavy luggage may face some issue. The day we entered... More

Aosta, one of the most beautiful towns in Europe - the whole center is pedestrianised. However, this hotel from the 50s, you can drive right up to it: the center of the pedestrianised area is literally at the door of the hotel, to the left. Step out of the hotel, turn left, walk 20 paces past one shop and you... More

Ok. Small quarters, but it's a hotel room. Staff was friendly. Food was little below average and to have to wait 15 mins for wine with my dinner in Italy is a travesty. But they are many fantastic restaurants in the vicinity.

We were travelling back down to Turin and the sun was setting over the Italian alps, we needed to find a hotel! We entered the closest "big" town and went around looking for a nice hotel... We stumbled upon a few locals and asked them of the closest hotel and we were told of Hotel Europa "Europe"... we parked our... More

I had a last-minute overnight here while walking the Via Francigena. It was an easy walk from the train station, the hotel was clean and accommodating. It was no great bargain, but it worked fine enough and breakfast was nicer than your average Italian breakfast of cellophane-wrapped pastry. Overall I'd certainly recommend it if staying in Aosta.

Unpleasant add-on to my previous review from Jan 2013. Hotel is located in limited traffic zone. We asked at reception whether we can leave the car at the hotel for 15-20 min, if we need to check in or check out, unload skis, etc. They said sure no problem and gave us a board GUEST OF HOTEL EUROPE which we... We are in a limited traffic area but without Cameras. This limited area is rejoindable by the our Clients and the local Police ask to us before if the car is by our clients. If you have taken some fines from a camera is why you had passed the city center wich is a limited traffic area with camera. More

Stayed there for one week in Jan 2013. Location very good indeed, few steps off the main pedestrial street and 10 min walk to station/cable car. There is a big public parking across the square, and supermarket. But that's about all good to say; the rest was awful. This hotel is nowhere near 4* rating. Everything is so old and... More

We picked the hotel for location, particularly proximity to train and bus station and to the pedestrian only city centre. It turned out to be a good decision. The room was a good size and clean, The breakfast was ample and varied. Yes it does need some TLC but everything worked. The room had a bath -which my wife really... More
