We stayed here on our drive from Nice to Geneva. The room was pleasant, although it could use more outlets for charging things. Breakfast was included, which was also pleasant, although not as varied as I have come to expect with European hotel breakfasts. The hotel felt slightly dated, but otherwise very comfortable.

We had stayed at this hotel before as the Holiday Inn. Pluses are location and elevator. Room was clean and updated. Staff were helpful. AC not on yet so room was stuffy - thankfully windows opened and it cooled down at night.

On arrival place seemed to be run by incompetant teenagers, the young receptionist offered to phone me with the price of the room when she found out and she didn't know where the loos were but set off in the wrong direction to find them, or not.. However, another teenage member of staff had more luck and I was relieved...... More

I was a solo traveller showing up late without reservation and the Norden Palace was the right place to turn up to unprepared as I was. Friendly staff got me into a decent room at a fair price. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Just what you would expect from a Hotel that formerly belonged to the Holiday Inn... More

We spend only one night at this hotel and unfortunately arrived almost in the night. We were abel to watch the paradise between the Swiss Alps on the sunset. It was so pretty that we should stayed there for at least 3 more nights to enjoy it over and over. The hotel is well located so you can find a... More

Threadbare carpets, furnishings, and towels. Rock-hard beds and pillows. Bathroom needed renovation ten years ago. 17" CRT televisions without English stations. 5 euro/hr wifi that didn't work. DON'T EAT HERE EVEN FOR FREE! Bar is not staffed. Staff were polite, but had to be apologetic most of the time. Wall are thin...adjacent rooms share your conversations.

This hotel is supposed to be 4 Stars --- I know Europe rates a bit differently but please, more like 2 stars is realistic. This hotel is dated, run down, poorly managed and the food on the meal plans was like eating at a retirement home. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I believe it is an... More

While several of the staff were polite and helpful, the hotel itself is dated and poorly run. Unfortunately, our "ski trip" included breakfast dinner for the week, the former being tolerable, the latter not. After the third night about eight of our 21 guests opted out of the dinners - they were really that bad - and four actually moved... More

If you stay here, do not eat here. The food quality and preparation are terrible. The food doesn't seem to be fresh, breads are stale, vegetables are overcooked, meats look and taste like frozen dinners. The rooms are dirty and musty. My room, #207, had a crack 6 feet in length along the ceiling with mold growing in it. The... More
