In August 2009 we stayed again at the Grand Trento and enjoyed a really good night's sleep, along with an improved breakfast on our 2008 visit. The hotel is superbly located for road and public transport, and has an ample underground garage for parking. It is only five minute's walk from the main rail station, and even closer to the... more

My wife and I booked this Hotel to explore the dolomites and to see the city Trento. We booked the “Let’s Celebrate” arrangement for two nights. The package contained welcome drink, an upgrade to bigger room if available, three course meals with drinks, sparkling wine in room and daily newspaper. We were lucky they could offer us a deluxe room... more

What a fabulous find! Much more than we expected for the price. The lobby is impressive, the room clean and spacious, the matress wonderful, breakfast gracious and good. the staff helpful, and the town of Trento deserves several days of exploration. more

Pleasant front desk team worked hard throughout our overnight stay to ensure any question we had was quickly and politely addressed - great service. Could not fault the rooms nor the decor - smart, clean and clearly showing the significant investment of both time and money. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the location ideal for a 5 minute stroll... more

I have stayed here several times. Traditional-style hotel - its suits me fine. Staff are friendly and location is good, it is quite near the train station. By the way, Trento is a gem of a city, well worth a visit. more

If you expect anything more, you'll be disappointed. Perfectly fine. Old school. Friendly staff. Our room was a little musty. Air conditioning was weak. more

The hotel attempts to be "grand". Excellent staff, great lobby, modern furniture in the room, many lighting options, large bath, great view. The only thing left to wish is air conditioning - and it is not there. Well, it is still in the mountains, night air is cool, but rooms are still hot in the night. Unacceptable for a hotel... more

Stayed overnight on our way to Rome. What a treasure hidden away in Trento. It lives up to his name and has a "wow" factor. Would have loved to stay more. Rooms spacious and luxurious, meals not wanting for anything, service impeccable. Can recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to be pampered. more

During the many times I have driven from my home in Monte-Carlo to Munich, I have continually looked for a pleasant hotel and city that would serve to enhance my vacation, rather than be merely a "stop over' experience. I have finally found the hotel, Grand Hotel in the lovely city of Trento, Italy Although the exterior is unusual, entering... more

Visited this hotel in May on a nearly two week trip of Northern Italy. Great location to historical part of the city and short walk to the Castle. Staff was outstanding and very friendly from the moment we pulled in with the car to getting directions to our next destination. On our first day, they directed us to a local... more
