Stayed here for 3 days to explore Trento & area before travelling on to Venice. Beautiful villa & gardens to explore. What a find this hotel was for a few days! Beautiful building - we were shown around the original Villa although we actually stayed in the new building in the Belvedere Suites. At the time of our visit the... More

We stop by every time we drive home to Rome (from Frankfurt) and it is a great stay even if just for an evening. The rooms are perfect but above all the hospitality of the staff is exceptional. You always feel welcome. Highly recommend it (and it's restaurant).

This has to be one of the most delightful hotels i have ever encountered, run with great panache and efficiency. On a recommendation from a business colleague, we caught the number# 9 bus from the centre. The rooms are all different and memorable. Ours was on the top floor, and had port-hole windows and a sloping roof that made me... More

Read about this hotel in a foodie guide book and were not disappointed. The hotel is in the suburbs about 3Km from the centre of Trento. The surrounding area is nothing to get excited about however the grounds of the hotel itself are lovely with ample room to sit out under the trees with a great view. We had a... More

I use to stay in the villa madruzzo when I go to Trento and it is always the same pleasure! This for three reasons : location, rooms and restaurant. The location of the hotel is in the mountains and the landscape is very pleasant as well the area around. Architecture is beautiful and melts "old age" and design with the... More

A charming place nearby the city of Trento. Nice rooms, good service, rich complimentary breakfest. From the patio you have a beautiful view of Trento. The place once was one of the houses of the bishop. Just wonderful.

Located at about 1/2 a mile from Dowtown Trento. It is a traditional hotel. We stayed for six nights, and we had a corner room (332) in the new building. Villa Madruzzo is a very traditional place, but the rooms in this building are modern an spacious. Very quiet and clean, with good views. Great continental breakfast is included with... More

Nice hotel with finishing touches. Has a small pool and outdoor jacuzzi. (Warm not hot). Tick off was a five Euro charge for a bathrobe and paper slippers. Dinning room served good food. Staff was friendly and efficient.

This hotel is situated in the hills just outside of Trento and was originally the residence of an Archbishop who is remembered among other things for constructing an underground passageway to the nearby villa of his mistress. Today the original building is used as a 4 star hotel with lovely old rooms and restaurant although here is a modern annexe... More

I stayed in the hotel exactly ten years earlier for a mate's 40th and this time I came for this 50th. The hotel has modernized in many ways but still retains the old world charm and nice personal service. I shifted from one of the attic rooms as I was going to be there for 4 nights and it was...
