We stayed for 3 nights in 2014 and made a vow to return for longer which we did this year. The villa is such a beautiful romantic place to stay. Our room was fantastic full of charm. The staff were very friendly we would definitely recommend this place to our friends and fellow bikers. Lots to do around the region... More

For anyone wanting something out of the ordinary this is the place. Not everything is modern and fancy so it suits those who are looking for something a bit more interesting than a square Best western hotel. During our stay we had rooms on the top floor and it was 40 degrees during the day and not much cooler during... More

The rooms are outdated and were a bit dirty during our stay, but the main issue was the highly likely presence of bed bugs in our room. My husband came back with bites all over his arms, head, and neck, which after a trip to the doctors, still took several weeks to heal. I checked the mattresses right before we... More

Set in an old castle inmidst vinyards, the hotel offers lots of charme. Close enough to the motorway, but far enough not to be disturbed by it. We found the beds however so uncomfortable, we used our own pillows. Great for one or two nights, probably not more.

This hotel is a destination all of its own. Not only does it have an incredible panoramic view of the mountains, but it has all the flavor of a restored villa. The owners are welcoming, the food incredible, and of course the wine is the best. Don't forget to sample the grapa that they produce themselves!

Just 10 min. from downtown Trento is la Locanda del bel sorriso, an ancient suburban Villa restored by the owner . The surroundings where the hotel is settled are quite suggestive. The rooms spreading along the old wood floors of the ancient building. The furnishing is what we can define as bric-a-brac but dont lack of carachter though. Maybe the... More

It definitely starts out promising: a 17th century villa on a hillside overlooking a vineyard, with mountains in the background. A windy road, a big gate, a long cobblestone driveway... Ah, the romance of Italy! But in the end, the place is really just average. The rooms are stuffy, the furniture is old without being charming, the walls are covered... More

It is more than just a hotel! To start with, the rooms do not have numbers: they have names and each room has its own personality. Ours was very spacious and comfortable. It was also very clean. The property is a very old state, to which some modern amenities were added: bathrooms with good shower, heating, wifi, parking... and flowers.... More

I feel bad giving such a terrible review for a place which is very authentic, cute and the owner seems very nice but there are some very serious issues with this hotel. Firstly the rooms are very old and upholstered which is fine except that I don't think it is very clean and my guess is that my husband's bites... More

We chose Trento as a stop over location on our road trip in Europe as we were making our way to Lake Como from Austria. It took a bit of finding on the SatNav but our tip is when the sat nav says you are there continue travelling away from Trento for about another half a mile and you will... More
