Great people, great service!!! The hotel is full of services and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel great while you are their guest!!! Will defiantly be back:) The location is great as well, it was super to be so close to the centre of the city and be able to have such an awesome experience during... More

We had a great romantic trip and loved every aspect of this place. In fact, we didn't see much of Merano because we couldn't bring ourselves to leave the lovely grounds! Beds could be more comfortable and bring your own shampoo and conditioner - they weren't provided. But the atmosphere and view from our terrace more than made up for... More

Our first visit to this hotel was over 20 years ago and it has remained a very special place. It has a wonderful view over Merano, quiet , charming with very helpful staff. There are rooms with balconies and a terrace for dining with very special views. Leisure facilities include a very well kept swimming pool , tennis court, billiard... More

What a disappointment! We were looking forward to staying in a cozy, historical castle with a lovely view of the Meran valley and enjoying the amenities of a 4 star hotel. It became immediately apparent after we were shown our rooms that the rating of this hotel was wholly incorrect. First of all, one of our rooms had ants--not a... More

This is the one time we were arriving very late. We called to let them know and arrived just before 9 at night so we missed the restaurant. The lady who checked us in was very nice. We had two rooms with balconies that were very warm. My son particularly complained about the heat. We didn't expect A/C but a... More

We found this a charming hotel in one of the areas 300 plus castles. The entire staff, owners, waiters etc went out of their way to be helpful, the building was full of antiques and objets of interest. The room was commodious, though one of the cheapest available with lovely views over the vineyards. Buffet breakfasts were of a high... More

Schloss Labers has an intriguing, if chequered past, and the castle itself seems infused with its own history. Ancient portraits and family trees adorn the walls, and the wood panelling and grand staircases give an impression of ancient Teutonic grandeur. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the garden and the mountains beyond. The views were spectacular. The pool was... More

Stayed there again for the week-end of the half marathon. Can only repeat previous praise, only this time the food was even better (new executive chef, apperently). Also, absolutely stunning weather this time, so we were able to use the pool, already in late April! We had a nice room with a fairly large balcony - but not all rooms... More

Had a wonderful three days at this amazing hotel. Location and decoration (some very pretty antique furniture, paintings - particularly a nice set on the seven deadly sins - and objects) alone are worth the trip. The view beats almost everything - I attach a picture of the garden, taken from our room (No 9, I think it was). Behind... More

we stayed for 2 nights in Labers on night 3 + 4 of our honeymoon tour of north Italy. We had an absolutely beautiful room with panoramic view of the breathtaking valley.......from the bath. Great service, super food (I really like good food) and a great wine list made it a fabulous stay. We stayed 1st week of September, we... More
