Comfortable, immaculate, cheerfully efficient-Petra's place reflects all that makes this such a pleasant part of the world. Petra herself is not shy with her opinions as to where you should hike, dine, etc. The thing is, she knows what she's talking about, so pay attention! Breakfast is also generous and fresh. You can't go wrong! More

We have stayed in this B&B before and were very pleased. Staff very friendly and very good breakfast. Only complaint is that Petra charges for WiFi. We traveled 5 weeks and this is the only place that charged for WiFi. Also indoor heated pool is a big plus. More

My friends and I absolutely loved this B&B! Our hostess, Petra, treated us like family from out of town. She was just wonderful! She was so knowledgeable about the region, and helped us plan our days. Breakfast was so delicious. Much more variety than you find throughout most of Italy. Eggs, speck, breads, yogurt, cereals, and juices. The rooms were... More

We can't seem to stay away from Haus Silbernagl. We were back this Spring for the third year in a row -- and this time we had a different, but still lovely, room. The bonus was that it was on the second to the top floor, so we had a shorter climb. The breakfasts are as tasty and ample as... More

We stayed in Haus Silbernagl for 2 nights in September 2011 and enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs, and the pool was a great way to relax. Our hostess was very helpful. More

There is a first time for everything, and this happened to be the 1st recommended place on TripAdvisor that greatly disappointed us. True: Petra is helpful with many ideas for things to do in the region and the location at the edge of Alpe di Siusi is lovely. However, this B&B is truly overrated. The house and our room was... I brought my parents and their two friends to the Dolomites and their intro to the area was Garni Silbernagl and its charming host Petra. My parents wanted to stay longer - we'll be back! Thank you Petra! More

When we were looking for accommodation in the Dolomites, the 5 star rating of Haus Silbernagl caught our eye. Having spent 5 nights in this delightful Pension/B&B, we agree that this rating is well deserved. Our room was large, bright, with comfy beds and it had a lovely balcony. The breakfast is sumptuous, a good start to set you up... More

This was one of the highlights of our month in Italy. Big lovely rooms, amazing breakfasts with table service including freshly cooked bacon and eggs, wonderful hospitality from Petra. We want to come back in Winter now and ski. More

We have traveled all over Europe, and always look in Tripadvisor for advice. The rare Tripadvisor five-star rating of Haus Silbernagl is well-deserved. It has the personal service of a B&B combined with a few hotel-only perks (pool, sauna in winter). Petra takes time to listen to your tastes and advise you on the best hikes. Breakfast variety and quality... More
