I had the pleasure of being a guest of this great star Hotel 4-5 *. Service is one of the best ,natural goodies are carefully selected and recommended by cordial staff. Hygiene sauna, and the entire hotel is unreproachable. The Manager, a man always with a smile, to guide guests entertained in a person downright delightful. Parking is free, the... More

Stayed two nights in December at this hotel as my favourite was fully booked. Our room was modern (though not that good match to the old building). The most friendliest person in the hotel was the cleaning lady! The reception was not that interested in anything. We even made the mistake and asked for the sauna at 21:00 (according to... More

The hotel needs a few remodelling works in some public áreas, but it is well kept in general, just a bit old fashioned. The rooms are tidy, clean, the TV is great because you can watch some channels in the original language, so films and series in english is a plus. The restaurante is very good, staff is helpful and... More

This is an old-fashioned nice hotel with large and beautiful rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant - a superdelicious grilled seabass. The pumkin soup was also tasty and the salad bar. Next morning we had a a delicious breakfast in the fantastic dining room. There was also a nice sitting room with a lot of newpapers and magazine. Easy... More

Stayed 2 nights in October (2nd-4th). Beautiful large room. Very clean. Very nice breakfast served in a beautiful dining room. Very good free WiFI. Good location. At the very edge of the main part of the village. Easy walk from the train station. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Large market around the corner but it closes around 19:30. Excellent staff.... although in a good location in the old part of the town, there is not much more to it than a nice facade...rooms are clean and quite big, but very sterile with no personal touch. breakfast is in a huge room, crowded with unfriendly service on our last morning. I will certainly not come back as there are much nicer... More

Was here in preparation for a 6 day cycling tour south to Venice. Exterior facade impressed me and raised expectations of a similarly styled interior but alas it was not to be. It's simply decorated but its wide stone/marble staircase with leading up to the rooms was impressive and created an air of grandeur. Receptionists were well presented and helpful.... More

Sometimes a refurbishment can totally change the mood and style a hotel. Some grand old hotel can be a hip and chic gem of a city. But it did not happen in Scala. I was impressed by the refurnished room photo and decide to book this hotel. However it turns out i made a mistake. The room is very spacious and... More

We stayed at this hotel at the end of August. The room was big enough for a family of four. The location of the hotel is excellent, parking lot is nearby, but the best thing for me was the garden with the swimming pool, where if the weather is nice you can have a pleasant breakfast as well. Also the... More

I stayed here recently and it was all very pleasant. The rooms are functional and modern and very clean. The common areas of the hotel are fine too although they feel a bit dated. The main attraction is the garden with swimming pool which is very nice and quiet. It is about a 10 minute walk to the main square... More
