We booked due to it being close to the train station and got a good last minute deal on Wotif.com It is a pleasing contrast inside to the typically grotty outside area (being near a train station in a continental city is always a recipe for accumulating less salubrious types) As far as areas around train stations go this one... We knew we would arrive in the evening by train so wanted simple walk in winter. The station area is never the best but in Torino its ok - v easy covered walkway leads to the glam arcades of Torino. Bathroom fabulous, aircon adjustable , towel Warmer want one , staff kind wifi an unexpected delight with a pword each.... More

Mercure Crystal Palace Hotel has very convinient location, just couple of meters from the central train station. The room looked pretty clean. Its price is definetly worthed, even though i had booked it just couple ofdays ago. One major problem I had was that the original room i booked did not get wi-fi reception. I had to change to room... We don't know whether to give a 4 or 3 star rating for this hotel. Room quality, service and breakfast restaurant were all very good. Location near the train station is both convenient and interesting in the Italian sense! Although there is a police station just opposite, there is a red light light district also in the neighbourhood. The single... More

Reception stayed on phone with mother(?) instead assisting me with failing airco and let me come down 3 times. Bath clean but upon starting yacuzi full of old dirt/rust. Big gathering of Polish workman drinking beer outside hotel. More

It's centrally located but neighborhood is also main problem for this recently refurbished hotel. Some of its characters at night look quite shifty. Hotel room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast buffet was bellow average though. More

We stayed here for one night on our way from Rome to Paris by train. The hotel is right by the Porta Nuova Station. The immediate area around the station was a bit dubious but the hotel itself was of a good quality. The room was large and modern, as was the bathroom, and the guy on reception was friendly... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The hotel is located opposite Porta Nuova railway station. The single rooms were newly renovated in a smart Italian style with air conditioning, minibar, safe and a comfortable bed. They were located at the back of the hotel and with the sound proofed windows, they were very quiet. Internet access was extra... More
