We stayed a night at the golden palace while driving between Paris and Rome. The hotel is overall a good choice for Torino, but it lacks charm, and a couple of details weren't up to standard for a wannabe five star. The good: Staff is kind, check in was hassle free and the room had a large bathroom and a... more

Fluffy comfy hotel but just dont ask for coffee before the restaurant is open and forget about waiting for your bags at the door, just drag them up the steps to the reception and the complimentary shoe shine that never arrives. Great rooms and great linens. Wi-Fi is free in your suite but you must pay E7 per hour in... more

The Golden Palace is by far the best hotel in Turin. It's in a perfect location, the staff is wonderful and the hotel is beautiful. We didn't have plans in Turin and the staff helped with all our reservations and ideas. We booked a suite and the room was great- two full rooms, large closet, large bathroom. I would highly... more

Hotel is very nice 5 star hotel , best facility ever, very nice breakfast but Torino in Aug is dead quiet. Many shops are closed for holiday and reastrant too. Even hotel pool, sauna, gym was closed. very disappointing. For tourist, I dont recomend to visit this city in Aug. more

Where do I begin? At first when pulling up the hotel, although it has an ugly facade--you can tell that it is a nice hotel. We were greeted right away by a bellman, which is to be expected from a 5 star hotel. Check in ended up being fine, although there was a mix-up with our reservation. I agree with... more

Usually stay at Le Meridien when on business in Turin but on this occasion was fully booked but the company travel agent found the 'Golden Palace'. Initially the name put me off (sounded like I would be staying in a run down chinese restaurant) however, there was some kind of medical convention in Turin and the only alternative was to... more

Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, great bathrooms and good places on site to get food or drinks. The breakfast buffet is good as well. Also, take advantage of any opportunity you can get to pamper yourself. After a long day of walking around, I ordered room service including a cheese tray and wine and enjoyed it as I soaked in... more

stayed 2 nights in this fab hotel......When booking it I was so put off by the name, but great reviews from this site convinced me to book it. Payed about 210 Euros per night and worth every penny.Room was large and well appointed....if I had to find a fault then the bathroom needed a little finishing off....eg filling between some... more
