We stayed at the Golden Palace for three nights over a weekend. The hotel is in a great location, easily reachable from the airport after a train & a tram journey. There are plenty of cafes, restaurant and tourist attractions in an easily walk-able distance but far enough from the night time noises. Main shopping streets are only 5 min... More

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel for 3 nights. Services are at high level, but not 5 star, as the complimentary water and the welcome plate of fruits were missing. Stil, our confort was good as the the room was kept cool during our short trips to the city museums or during the night when AC was... More

The location is perfect about 5 minutes walk to the city centre. Price for their suite room was low even during Summer month when we visited. I think it has to do with the city is lack of tourists, this hotels seem empty even at their 1 star Michelin restaurant.

The hotel has a nice degree of luxury. Well designed comfortable spacious room. Fantastic bathroom - I had a nice large tub and separate shower with good products, towels amenities. The lobby has a variety of public spaces which are good for meeting for drinks before dinner or having a business meeting. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Wifi is spotty... More

This hotel is aiming to be the crème De La crème of hotels. As the name may suggest, everything seems to ooze far eastern luxury; from the black marble entrance foyer, "liquid gold" videos playing in fake rock at the reception desk (a little dated), the white grand piano and evening jazz musicians, the exotic, fresh oriental flowers in vases,... It was a business stay for me, paid for by the company. If I had to pay the prices myself I would look elsewhere. It's a very nice hotel on first impressions. The staff are helpful and friendly. I didn't eat in the restaurant as it was too expensive and there were much nicer, cheaper places to eat in the... More

I loved my stay at the Golden Palace- the room was well-appointed in the second building and the team were very welcoming and ready to answer all questions. Complimenti a Ceci al ricevimento! Il servizio e' stato grande!

You have to be aware that standard rooms do not have any view since the hotel built a blue glass wall just outside the window to prevent the guests to look into the palace of the archbishop, which is in the adjacent building. You will be better off to book a room in a cheaper hotel instead of the standard... More

Good hotel in a very good location to downtown. For the right price I would recommend. Had to check back a few times before booking to get the right price. Clean and fresh place although hallways are kind of dark Staff is friendly and helpfull Would stay here again (at the right price)
